This is our favorite place for ourselves and to take those who visit from out of town. We are never disappointed! Very clean, well kept property. Staff is always friendly, attentive, and professional. Excellent food always! The grill and entertaining chefs are always a hit with visitors. The booth/table seating area is quiet and intimate. Our friends have told us this is the BEST SUSHI they've had and they are travelers of the US so I value their opinion. In this area, Sakura is one of the few restaurants I would recommend.

Stopped in for dinner last evening. The meal started off well with the molten hot and tasty crab dip. Of the 6 dishes ordered after that, the Mirin glazed salmon was the best, and it was somewhat average. Flavors were good but way overcooked. The sushi is very marginal. Ordered the real lump crab in place of the kani (imitation) but it was truly hard to tell if it made a difference. The sushi was dense (overpacked) and quite bland. Service was good and the staff works hard to make guests happy. Lastly, management would do well to figure out how to have the exterior door shut after guests leave the dining area. It was a chilly evening when we visited and we, as well as other guests, had to get up from our meal to fully close the door several times after someone left, lest we deal with the chill. Or better yet, have exiting diners use the other door.Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! Quaint little restaurant with relaxing outdoor seating and an interesting diverse menu. The fun stops there. Service was horrible, very slow. Our waitress had very little knowledge of the food menu or the drink menu. It wasn't on the menu but we asked her if they had sashimi, she said she thought so. We were served something that was not sashimi, we sent it back, they re-presented the same dish 10 minutes later, sent back again and told them to forget it. Ordered the vegetable spring rolls. Definitely something bought in bulk out of a freezer somewhere. Very bad. Ordered some sort of chicken on a skewer. Overcooked and dry and served with a sauce that tasted like peanut butter in a cup, left overnight to dry out. Ironically the kids pepperoni pizze looked pretty good. Maybe they should stick to more basic easy dishes. When the bill came, we were charged for the dish sent back after they told us they took it off. Very disappointing, we will not be back and would recommend to others they skip it.Hi Amy, Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
