Tucked into the corner of the Encinitas Boulevard Shopping Center, Sushi Brothers is a pleasant friendly spot for lunch, happy hour or dinner. The fish is super fresh and the dining room is decorated with authentic Japanese decor. The Protein Roll with a light citrus sauce is a healthy light option.

We were told by local friends that this place offers the best sushi in north San Diego area. Every peice was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt and gracious. Outside seating on the street seemed pleasant, but we opted for the shaded inside since we went for lunch when the sun was strong. Try the $25 variety platter for two. It was plenty for three men.

We happened upon HapiFish. Watched the chefs in action for a while, we sat at the bar, which was perfect- under the fan and lights. The presentation was wonderful- see photos. We shared three rolls- and were more than satisfied- and great saki. The bartender was knowledgeable and so helpful in our selections.

Great sushi, sashimi, tempura, ... never had anything but fresh, tasty, well prepared food. Happy hour (4 - 6) makes the place a good value.Located in the corner of a strip mall by the freeway, the room and sushi bars are crowded with happy patrons. And yes, the tables are crowded together as well. The floor to ceiling windows open to the parking lot, and added to the constant open and close of the door, can contribute to a somewhat cold temperature--bring a light coverup. Service is always pleasant but rarely great--perhaps the young servers are new to their calling?Overall, however, this is a good choice for food and value.

Classic California restaurant full of entitled millennials to serve you. Arrived in the valet lot only to find and Iâm noxious attendant that âwelcomed usâ to the restaurant. We came to go to the upstairs bar but that was not open on a Saturday afternoon. We were Crammed into the dark, cold downstairs area as they probably didnât have enough employees to work the full restaurant⦠Hereâs the good news the ice was cold and so was the beer. We ordered a roll that had questionable texture on the raw fish. Not very flavorful⦠Deciding not to order additional items seem to irritate the waiter. Upon our decision to leave the valet attendant helped three different patrons that were behind us in line before they helped us. It then took over 15 minutes to bring my vehicle from some lot elsewhere. As a parting gift the valet obnoxiously asked for a tip. Overrated and entitled when there are many other places to go.
