I went there for lunch with a friend who has a business nearby. I would have to say the sushi was good, we ordered a roll, spicy salmon with spicy tuna on top, the salmon and avocado roll, and the eggplant roll. The eggplant role was delicious. The spicy salmon roll had a little bit too much of the spiced oil usually found in Chinese restaurants served with dim sum, it was good, but I think the spice could have been better off coming from a more Japanese wasabi based spice. We also ordered miso soups. The service was only okay, not super friendly, but we were in and out of there in an hour which is important when my friend needed to get back to his business. However, it would have been better if the wait service would have come over and asked if everything was okay, I would have asked for more ginger and wasabi, we ran out midway through as only small amounts were offered, with the servings. And frankly the prices were a bit high for Brentwood, $32.00 for 2 miso soups, and the sushi we ordered. When we left, we thanked the server and the chef, but received almost no response, no reaction. I would go back as the fish was fresh,which is critical with sushi. However, some improvements could be made in having the server check in on the guests while they eat their meal, and perhaps offering lunch specials or offering free miso soup when the sushi order exceeds a certain dollar amount. the most important thing about sushi is quality of the fish, the way it is cut, the freshness, etc. and Happy sushi does a good job, they just need to get a little more business savvy with their service and perhaps some speciality pricing to entice more business.

Wow! Great food with fast and friendly service. Kyuzou goes over the top to be the best. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Today my wife and I split 3 rolls and a miso soup. Nothing disappointed.

I don't often go to Chinese places but my family wanted to go. They had ordered take out from here and said that it was good. Apparently, dining in and take out are two completely different experiences. The menu is huge, but a bit misleading. Saying the lunch selections come with appetizer, soup and salad. Great, but you don't get to pick them. Our food took forever, then they brought out everyones food except my wifes sushi roll. We all finished eating before she got her food. The waitress put her sleeve into my food and my food and my daughters plate when reaching for glasses to refill drinks. The spicy tuna roll my wife waited forever for....wasn't even palatable.

I was on a lunch date with my sister and wanted her to try sushi, she looked on her Iphone and Bluefin came up with 4 stars, so that is where we decided to go. she let me order since I have been trying shushi places in differant towns, Bluefin has a nice atmosphere, but my sushi was very bland. there was no "YUM" at all, I ordered 2 differant rolls, and both tasted the same. just bland.

If any of you remember Lucy's or like Mikado's, it's right up there. The atmosphere doesn't look that fancy, but don't let that fool you. The food is great. I love everything including their fried rice and any of the noodle dishes. They give pretty good size portions and the service is very good. They also serve sushi and some Japanese dishes, so it's a great pick for a Brentwood Asian restaurant.

We visit Brentwood pretty often and we eat out all the time. One of our favorite places is Mikado because they have such a variety of choices. Within the Japanese/Chinese cuisine, they have everything and their sushi is great. They always have very friendly servers who are attentive, no matter how busy they are.
