Sushi is just a part of the menu. They serve several fantastic entrées and great vodka drinks. After 10PM the restaurant transforms itself to a bar with (a bit too) loud music played by a DJ (at least when I was there). Reservation is mandatory or you'll have to sit outside or wait for at least 45 minutes. If you drink (alcohol!) expect to spend R$100/person at least.Hi, Bellesi. O Midori sempre se distingue pela organização, arrumação bem feita dos pratos, bom paladar e boa recepção dos funcionários e do proprietário.Os pratos que considero mais fortes do Midori são os sushi, sashimi e teishoku. Sabores marcantes, deliciosos. Bom atendimento. O segurança da entrada também é muito atencioso. Recomendo sempre.

I have known this restaurant for some time now. I try to go there everytime I visit Belém. Last time I asked the owner for how long it existed. She said since 1977 ! And they do not even talk about it. I guess it is because they are constant in their quality and service. Plenty of choices between japanese and chinese dished, including the chef's hot plate dishes served to your table "as much as you can eat". If you want quality be sure to visit this place.
