So splendid was medieval Verona that its reputation alone inspired Shakespeare to set two plays here (Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona). Though its connection to the actual Capulets is tenuous at best, the so-called Juliet's House draws half a million tourists per year, many of them keen on reenacting the balcony scene. Came here two nights in a row because this place was so good! Itâs great for somebody whoâs looking for some food, but also on a budget. The pictures below only cost me â¬8.something! The receipt is of tonight but itâs just to show prices. Great selection of pizza and to weigh it by the gram is a great idea. Got some free cake too! Thanks!

This is a small pizza restaurant with maybe six tables. It also does takeaway. You order the pizza, panini etc at the table and pick up beer or wine from the fridge. The pizzas were both outstanding. I had four cheese and my partner had four seasons. The restaurant was very clean, the owners were very friendly. Could not fault it.

I think it was around 8 euro. The pasta was hot and al dente, the sauce was rich and delicious. I did add crushed pepperoncino peppers and some oil to the top before I left for home, which was a nice addition. While fast food is not typically an Italian custom, itâs nice to have this option. There are more âstreet foodâ options popping up that offer savory dishes â in addition to the pizza-by-the-slice and panini options there have been.
