Vincennes is a city in and the county seat of Knox County, Indiana, United States. It is located on the lower Wabash River in the southwestern part of the state, nearly halfway between Evansville and Terre Haute. Founded in 1732 by French fur traders, notably, François-Marie Bissot, Sieur de Vincennes for whom the Fort was named, Vincennes is the oldest continually inhabited European settlement in Indiana and one of the oldest settlements west of the Appalachians.

My friends and I stopped there to eat on Sunday evening. The waitress took our orders and then brought us drinks. We waited 30 minutes before she finally brought our salads. We started eating them and 4 minutes she arrived with part of our food orders. We did not have time to enjoy our salads at all. She did not have my food or one of my friend's because she forgot to place our orders! My food arrived when everyone was about finished with theirs. My food was lukewarm and not very tasty. My friend ended up taking her food home because everyone else was finished. There was no manager in sight and never came to our table to see what the problem was. I will not go back to this place again!

We grew up with a local Ponderosa and boy has it changed! The teens enjoyed their dinner and the butterscotch cookies. The buffet offered a tasty salad bar however I can't say the same for the hot foods or the stale sweet tea. Enjoy the upscale, menu directed fare of well prepared and large selection of sushi, hibachi, yaki soba and teriyaki dishes. Helpful and friendly staff appreciated when venturing away from the conforts of too-common buffet houses. Ask about special âhouseâ condiments. For a full-meal tour of Tokyoâs tastes i recommend the Teriyaki salmon.
