This place was recommended as a great place to eat - it was OK, but not special. They had sold out of Ribs when we arrived so that was disappointing. Shared some chicken wings and then had a steak sandwich. It was comparable to an upmarket pub in UK. It is popular with the younger crowd and was busy. I probably would not return but accept that it offers decent food in a pleasant environment.

I visited Restaurant Zollhaus Thun on 30th December 2018 with my family. The place is in a historic building, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We also loved the food, specially the steak on salt-stone was very delicious. The kids enjoyed the pizzas. I will definitely visit again on my next trip.

this place is crowded and we werer lucky to get a table as we dropped in before 6pm. Ordered a full rack of baby back ribs, wings, salad. Best ever ribs tried! so tender and flavorful, better than the "best ribs in USA" that I was introduced! LoL But wings are just average ... for those wishing to visit, be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
