Typically we only eat breakfast here. But the new dinner menu was enticing enough to give it a try for dinner and we were not disappointed. First, our waitress, Shelly, was an absolute delight. The food, however, was a big surprise. I had the pork chop which was delicious. It was a huge bone in chop with a lovely smoky flavor served on a bed of Kale and fingerling potatoes with a nice compote on top. I also had the filet another night with a side of spinach. Although only 6 oz, it was flavorful and tender. The chicken breast dish was also excellent.Thank you so much for your lovely words! It was our honor having you as our guests and we can't wait to have you back soon! Sondra Richardson

Lucky find! Locals recommended this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. We went ahead and ordered the bone in filet (husband) and I ordered the cowboy ribeye based on our bartender Jacob's suggestions. It was an incredible meal that still makes my mouth water to this day. Jacob and the staff were attentive to details including, the Brussel sprouts (which my husband even loved) that were memorable. I wish there was a restaurant with this high quality, service, and food here in Boston! Next time we return to Lake Tahoe we'll be back to Park Prime!

Conveniently located inside The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe is the Bistro, a hub for guests to gather, dine, and reminisce about the day's adventures on the course, along the beach, or in the mountains. A full-service space open for breakfast, lunch, and dinn
I sort of felt like a child again when my mother would say I didnât listen but did it anyway and usually got in trouble. I met some local members at Edgewood golf, played a round with them and asked them if they thought Bistroâs was good because it was in the hotel and if you know South Tahoe it isnât a good food scene and usually packed for dinner. They warned me...I didnât head their advice and had we ordered two different steaks, both listed as âprimeâ. The flavorless filet and the gristle New York...when they put on their menu Prime. Does that mean prime from Safeway because it was not out of date? This is the best part....wait for it....wait. So my wife politely ask instead of the potatoes can she have vegetables. The server politely replied yes. The chefâs response was to put about 18 oz of the Sigmund the See Monster plop of nasty cooked spinach on the plate. I nearly fell out of my chair because it looked exactly what I saw 20 years ago in an Army chow line...a big ole scoop plop right smack on the plate. The Sarge called cookie laughing âhere is your extra vegetables privateâ. My wife did not think it was a funny as I did, and I quit laughing when they brought me 144 buck bill for possibly the worst meal I have ever had at a 5 star hotel. I should have listened. Built like an alpine chateau, with two graduated levels to offer an unimpeded view for every patron, the restaurant's tables look directly out across the lake, with the unparalleled view framed by sweeping wooden archways and vaulted ceilings. When seated
The service and views are amazing. The food, while innovative, was good, with a few misses. Our waiter, Todd, was an absolute delight. I had the chicken breast with mushroom ravioli. The ravioli was really good as were the side veggies. The chicken breast was a bit dry, however, and could have used a bit of sauce.Thank you for taking the time write this review and share your recent dining experience at Edgewood Restaurant. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the stunning Lake Tahoe views and exceptional service. We appreciate the great feedback and have shared your concerns about the chicken breast dish with our culinary management. We hope you will be our guest again the next time you are in the area for a more enjoyable meal overall. - Edgewood Team

We were given a recommendation to try this restaurant and weâre very happy we went. The filet and scallops with shrimp were excellent dinner selections. The coconut shrimp appetizer was one of the best weâve ever had. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and the bar area is very beautiful. The restaurant was very busy that night, but we were treated to a beautiful table with a view of the area, and our server took great care to make sure we were happy with our meal. The manager stopped by each table to also ask if anyone needed more attention. We each had wine with dinner and the total cost was no more than we pay in our home town. We enjoyed our affordable and wonderful evening.

We were disappointed. We have dined at many different, high end steak houses and after reading the reviews thought this would be a great place for a birthday dinner.Service was sub par. Sat for over 10 mins. No water no acknowledgment from staff.Waiter came over and asked if we wanted a drink. I said water would be a nice start.Got a drink menu with the cocktail page missing.Waiter just seemed rushed and harried the whole night.Food was mediocre. Ordered crab cake appetizer. It was literally a single crab cake for $21. It didn't taste like a $21 crab cake. The french onion soup was good. The bread was fresh and warm.We each had filet with shrimp. The shrimp was over cooked and had so much hot spice on it I couldnt eat mine. Table side toppings on the baked potato was a nice touch but I'd rather have had better presentation on the whole plate. Filet was good. Bearnaise was good but cold.Onto dessert. I think the hype of this place is the table side cooking not the actual food because the banana foster was not good. I have had banana foster at different places and this was the worst I've had. I'm a dessert person and left most of mine behind.Maybe it was an off night but I wouldn't go back or recommend this restaurant. Also we started on the reservation it was for a birthday. No acknowledgment but tables around us had birthday recognition from staff.
