So, seven of us met to celebrate a friends birthday (thankfully not a particularly important one). Location wise the restaurant is accessible only via a dirt track off the main road, albeit in fairly good nick without too many potholes. We sat outside in a covered area, near to a feature pond full of terrapins. After ordering drinks, we spent a while looking at the extensive menu and (eventually) decided on: starters - four pate, an onion soup, a cauliflower gratin and a green bean, ham and Murcian sausage dish; mains - a T-bone steak, a mixed paella, salmon, goulash and three fillet steaks; only a few had dessert - cheesecake, tiramisu and an apple pie.So. . . A couple of bowls of salad were placed on the table before the starters arrived, nothing too complain about really, except this was the salad to accompany our main courses as there were no vegetables on offer. The pate was a very rustic, dry pate and was served without any bread (which had to be asked for), or accompanying chutney or compote, the onion soup was served with bread and cheese in the bowl, so very little actual soup. The cauliflower gratin was OK, but I had a really tasty green bean, ham and sausage dish full of flavour. All the main courses were OK, but nothing really outstanding and certainly did not represent value for money. The salad had been in the open for over half an hour, warm (not hot) French fries were served alongside the mains, with no offer of alternative potato options or vegetables. The Apple pie was not what I was expecting, it was a puff pastry roundel with apple and ice cream in the centre, still very nice though. The cheesecake came with a sponge-like base and tasted of grapefruit. The tiramisu was more like a chocolate mousse and was by far the most disappointing. The staff were initially quite friendly, but as the evening wore on I got the feeling they wanted to go home and were clearing tables and chairs around us (albeit only around 22:30 or so).So in short, we all felt disappointed with the food and we all agreed we wonât be going back.

Last month we went to dinner at this place twice. The first time the meat was cooked perfect as requested but when we asked for the bill they tell us that that day they had problems with the card machine. We returned after 10 days and the meat was always cooked perfect as requested but still do not accept credit card. At the door of the restaurant there is no warning sign of this!!! Fortunately, we had cash with us but we saw people from other tables who had to go down to the ATM to withdraw money. This does not seem right: in the same center you can find cheaper restaurant that accept credit card.

We visited as guests of a friend for a night of entertainment and a meal. The evening was over subscribed and although the entertainment was excellent the bar system left a lot to be desired. Whether this is the norm as the venue does put on major horse shows as entertainment but we had to attend an inadequately staffed bar to firstky pay cash for our "monopoly money" vouchers in order to.purchase.our drinks. Then when the undoubtedly wrong amount of vouchers have been purchased you are "paid" in "monopoly money" vouchers again as change..meaning you can only redeem them on site..similar to playing Bingo in Blackpool!!!The food was good and as I said our entertainment was 1st class it was just 0 bar that left a lot to be desired. Maybe that was down to numbers and the fact it was 99% british audience so frequent visits to.the bar were inevitable!!

Visited on a Tuesday night in October but place was still busy. Friendly and engaging staff and food was reasonably priced. Tried the daily special, meatballs, and the portion size was big. Sauce was a little too rich for me but that probably says more about my palette than the quality. Still polished it off! Only slight criticism was that service was super fast and we felt rushed but I appreciate it's difficult to get the balance right. The acid test is would we go again and it's a resounding 'Yes'.
