This place is inside the Conrad Hotel. The venue itself is very well decorated and laid out. The service was top notch. I started with the chicken broth soup, very nice. Had a steak and a side of the pomme purée. The steak was perfect. The pomme purée was very bland. Every one had a decent meal. The place is very bright. They should dim the lights at night for better ambiance. Felt like eating in a school cafeteria it was so bright.

We made a reservation and upon arrival were promptly greeted and seated.The atmosphere and decoration are nothing special.The tables and chairs just averageThe buffet is varied and substantial.The service is friendly and average in speed.The meat served was quite salty, yet tasty.Have your cocktail mixed table side.Parking with curb side valet service helps getting in and out of the restaurant.

Great place, great service, great atmosphere, and great food. The staff were eager to please, and attentive to each table being served. The prices were a bit higher than other restaurants, but well worth the experience.

A grand closure to our short trip to San Luis. Los Tonoles was chosen for its ambience as well as it's food., There were seven of us and all had great meals and shared in a sublime dessert. From Filet Mignon to Tomahawk steak that would have choked a horse, but I was told, was simply delicious. My only real hang-up with steak in Mexico is that the restaurateurs do not let their beef age enough and then, even the finest cut of beef is tough and does not cut like butter, which a well aged beef cut will give you. Too bad, since this restaurant has everything else. Great waiters, great setting, unbelievable entrees but tough steaks

This was by far my favorite meal of the week, during my week in San Luis PotosÃ. The arrachera was excellente an should be enjoyed if you will be within 25 kilometers...it's worth the drive.

Generally a great restaurant to visit while in San Luis. This time again, the service was good, the live music a bit loud, the waiters helpful and for some of our group, the food was excellent but for me, the sirloin was quite stringy and therefore chewy. Too bad, maybe next time, I'll choose something else
