We eat here once a week at least because you can usually count on getting a good meal at a reasonable price. Every now and then, you'll get a dud on service or the meal, but seldomThe salad bar is among the best in town and the wait staff is mostly top notch. It's one of our favorite places to eat in Roanoke

Had some gift cards to use up so we came here for an early dinner. Initially they were not going to accept them because they were no longer part of the Darden family, but server checked with management and they said they would. Server was very friendly and accomodating, except when we were ready to leave and could not find him to obtain the check. Could not decide what to get so initially hubby and I were going to split our steaks. Hubby got 12 ounce sirloin and proceeded to eat the whole thing, except the one piece he gave me, because it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My prime rib on the other hand.....had ordered it medium, came closer to rare, very tough, no flavor, even with the horseradish sauce. Hubby took one small bite and I left most of it. Loaded baked potato was small and did not have alot of toppings. Side salad was the right size but had too much dressing--my fault for not asking for it on the side.

Had NewYorkStrip and Ribeye. Both were very salty. Our Waitress Chelsea was more interested in sitting with her friends at another table talking then serving us. Had to ask other waitressâs to get drinks etc. complementary peanuts were empty. She didnt clear table of used glasses plates until we left. Overall mediocre food with poor service. Will not be returning
