Reviews on Steakhouse food in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, United States. Rancho Palos Verdes (also known by the abbreviation RPV) is a city in Los Angeles County, California atop the Palos Verdes Hills and bluffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. An affluent suburb of Los Angeles, it is known for large tracts of open space and expansive views of the Pacific Ocean. Rancho Palos Verdes is translated as "Ranch of Green Sticks", probably referring to the willows in the northeastern part of Bixby Slough (now known as Machado Lake) shown on earlier maps.

We have been here a few times now having lived in Pedro for only 2 years. We love love love the happy hour! Theres so many items to choose from and the prices are beyond reasonable! The tomahawk steak is gigantic! Its great for two to share, and cooked perfectly! Instead of going to other fancy steakhouses or seafood restaurants, Think Prime is close by and very affordable with delicious food! There are nights where there are people singing live and I enjoy them very much! The staff is friendly and attentive. There have been a couple times where we could hear the servers and bartenders' conversations that we dont want to hear. It takes away from the professionalism of the staff and ambience of the restaurant. We dont want to hear the drama of the week, its none of our business. We are there to dine! But overall this place is awesome!

You know you are in for a treat when you sit down and they serve freshly made bruschetta and warm bread. Yum! One of the better ciopinno's ever, served in oversized bowl filled with fresh fish and seafood. Very tasty homemade pastas, chicken marsala and calamari. Service very good and wine selection extremely reasonable ($30 for a nice Italian red). Overall: Excellent place for families and if you want pizza, they have that too.

Established in 1963, Torrance restaurant and cocktail lounge serving prime rib, steak, and seafood.
My wife selected the San Franciscan to celebrate our 43rd Wedding Anniversary because she had heard about the prime rib. We were not disappointed. We both ordered the shrimp and prime rib plate. We were served nice large shrimp and a good thick cut of prime rib plus salad and bake potato. Very tasty! We plan on going back soon.
