We traveled back to Arizona in September, and celebrated another anniversary here.Steak 44 is truly in a class of it's own, this is a restaurant that makes you feel like you are somewhere special from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is elegant, but not stuffy. The food quality and preparation are both superb, and definitely one of the best steaks we have ever had. The shrimp they offer as appetizers are fantastic. They are seriously colossal and quite tasty, as are the accompaniments that they serve them with. You do get what you pay for, and this is a wonderful place to celebrate a very special night out.

wen there when down watching some baseball as it was across the street from our hotel and we love steaks. The food was good but not great so i felt over priced for what you get. Been to many steak houses on trips and I like the decor which is in a mall but nothing really stood out as wow just ok. took a long time for my credit card to get taken though i put it on the table i bet it was a good ten minutes maybe more before someone actually took it.

Stockyards Restaurant

In 1947, The Stockyards, Arizona's Original Steakhouse opened its doors for the first time with a menu focused solely on its historical past; beef. Staying true to its heritage, the menu continues to feature only the finest corn-fed, aged steaks.

visiting the stockyards again upon a friends request and still love it. My wife had the NY strip w/ mashed and I had the rib eye steak 12 oz. It was very flavorful and perfectly done. My friends were thrilled to see Chataubriond on the menu(for 2). I came perfectly prepared on a platter with all the extras and sauces. they were impressed. The service was as I expected, competent but not in your face. We had a nice bottle of wine. I recommend this "old" place that had kept up with it's reputation.

Went to Durant's for birthday lunch. Great food, attentive staff, and you enter the restaurant through the kitchen - everyone is friendly and says hello when you walk by. Is a little pricey, but the food is real, "old-fashioned" and just plain yummy. The portions are HUGE. I had the prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. It came with soup or salad and I chose the cream of mushroom soup - amazing! They also serve the most awesome garlic bread with your meal - lordy, it is so good, I could just eat the bread!

My friend and I came here for a pre-concert dinner. Although we had reservations, it still took us 20 minutes to be seated. The ambiance was nice, our server was attentive and pleasant, but our meals were average. I ordered the salmon and my friend had the crab cakes. Okay, but nothing special. Especially for the price tag. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'll go Tommy Bahama. I wish them luck, but we probably won't be back.Thank you for reaching out regarding your recent visit with us. We are eager to learn more about your experience.
