The atmosphere in the Edith Cavell bar and Prime restaurant is delightful. Although we haven't eaten here our friends have and thoroughly enjoyed their steaks. We tend to use the bar for a lunchtime drink as a rest after shopping! Clive always has time for a chat and today Patrice was full of smiles and a warm welcome. Thanks to all for prividing such a lovely service.

Great value 3 course dinner menu; £22.95 pp; lovely food, good portions & friendly staff! âï¸We both thought that the mushroom starter was particularly delicious and I loved my vanilla & chocolate cheesecake. My husband really enjoyed his cheese & biscuits; a good selection with loads of grapes too. Definitely intend to return for the mushrooms again, plus there were a couple of other desserts Iâd like to try!!! 6 of us came for the first time, following a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The steaks were beautifully cooked and all the food was nicely presented. The sides were excellent too, and so were the desserts.The menu is not large, but i'm sure this helps with quality control. The staff were very cordial and obliging. Will certainly return.
