Fireside, a beautiful, bi-level, modern space is named for the fireplace that greets you at the door. At Fireside you will enjoy a selection of well seasoned foods with a wide array of iconic appetizers, healthy salads, seasonal soups, great burgers and s
We walked in for a late lunch no one was at the counter. We wanted to order steak but that's not available for lunch. I ordered sweet breads - elaborate garnishing they put to distract me from the fact I got 5 nibblettes on my plate. Caesar salad came with pan seared chicken but looked like it had that herb bread coating. We sent it back asking for grilled chicken. We got charcoaled chicken, overdone. Not enough chips with our salsa. Yeah and the lovely tea light on our table must have been used because it was out in under 30 minutes. Business ain't booming if they are scrimping on tea lights! And don't add a tip - they automatically bill you 18% tip.As G-d told the Jewish people at the splitting of the sea - what you see here today you will not see again....Def not going back to Fireside EVAH

I haven't been to Waterwheel for many years but decided to give it a try and met a friend for dinner. We split a mozzarella, tomato and basil appetizer which was fine. My friend ordered a red meat dish (forgot whether it was the bourbon steak), which are ok. My rigatoni dish with veggies was large but didn't have much flavor. We split an apple pie slice for dessert, which ended the meal nicely. The service was very pleasant, polite and efficient.
The Ridge Steakhouse offers a high level of technique and service that the Kosher Monsey scene is not costumed to. We offer unique items on our menu, from our Dry Aged Steaks as old as 180 days, down to simple and flavroful appetizers that every foodie ca
In trying to potray itself as more upscale, the Ridge seems to have bitten off more than it should chew! When recently having a dinner there, since its move from next door, although the restaurant looked beautiful when entering, we found the food not up to par with higher end eateries it seems to be trying to immitate in the City.Althoughthe food was tasty, the a ppetizer portions were very small and quite expensive, the Entrees were adequate - but nothing special. The liquor list was extensive, but again pricy (for this area).Dessert menu was quite meager. On the whole I would not give it top ratings, perhaps they should have remained with their former venue.
