I had a combination dinner of brisket and tri-tip. It was just OK. It seemed like it had been sitting around all day and was reheated. It was barely warm. It wasn't worth the $30+ I dropped for dinner and a beer. The live music was good, albeit, the singer was a bit hung up on himself. Asking for tips, then when guests made requests he said he only played his own music, after singing two John Prine covers, lol. Unlikely I will return, other than perhaps a beer and/or sandwich. My male server was very courteous and attentive, I can't knock the service that night. It was a Sunday night and my first dining choice was closed.Sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience at the Pig. We don’t serve day old meat, everything is freshly smoked and BBQ is not hot like say enchiladas or lasagna. It’s smoked meat held at 140 degrees, all the meats are smoked “low and slow” and sliced to order. Please check out our FB page we show many examples of smoked meats. I don’t know what to say about the musician that played Sunday night as he was an out of town artist and I don’t know him. I will mention that we do not charge a cover to enjoy live music, 7 nights a week in season. I sure hope you will give us another shot the next time you’re in Moab.Sincerely, Penny

Quick summary: many of the expected items on the menu for this part of the country (steaks, burgers) but also some nice surprises (duck tamales, buffalo enchilada, trout.). Reasonable prices for fresh, tasty quality. Friendly, professional service. My husband and had been touring a number of the national parks. While we dined pretty well throughout, we were looking for something beyond the expected burgers, steaks, etc. the duck tamales and buffalo enchiladas intrigued us ($19 each, including healthy servings of black beans and rice.). We started with the simple greens salad, which is a big bowl that is easily enough for two or more to share, and we enjoyed our choice of salad dressing, citrus chipotle ($8.50.)Most apps are in the $6.50 range. The menu has ribs, sold in multiples of three. Mains with appropriate sides are mostly in the $19-$24 range. Assorted bowls are in the $15 a$22 range, the latter for an elk stew combo.Very nice beer, wine, and cocktail list.Friendly, professional service.Nice outdoor patio with some trees and shade. Indoor restaurant has a nice western vibe, as does the separate bar area.So -- there are more than a few items on the menu we'd love to have, if only we were in town longer. Maybe next time...We wish we lived closer to this place.
