We recently stopped here for on our way back home. The atmosphere was great, the service was good and the drinks were good. We had pizza's, burgers and buffalo wings, but it would have seemed like an off day for this restaurant, because as regular Spur customers, the food was not the normal Spur standards that we would expect. Visited this steakhouse for 21st birthday party with my grandson.Nice atmosphere but not very busy on the night in question.Various orders placed by our group from burgers to eisbeins and steaks.Everybody was very happy with the food delivered both quality, quantity and taste was great.Service a little slow for number of people there took about 20 mins before first orders were delivered.Drinks and desserts were also great making for an entertaining and enjoyable evening for all

Located in Middelburg's Midwater center, this Buffalo Lake Spur - is newly rebuilt and embodies everything you'd ever want a Spur Franchise to look like. Clean, modern interior with a safe children's play area. So we usually don't eat out at the end of the month because we know all the restaurants are very busy! This time was an exception and the food was a dissapointment.As a customer we expect to get the same quality and tasting food from the same franchise! We ordered spicy chicken wings but there was nothing spicy about it! HOBO'S CAFE is a homey family restaurant with a sushi bar. They also offer home-style food like burgers, Eisbeins and creamy starters. Freshly made. Excellent service. Great owners. They have daily specials with the average price of R150 p/person for a main and a drink.
