Represents itself as fine dining but ambience: casual, Beatles album playing, Argentinian food located in Mexico. Less than a quarter capacity and they made wait for a seat anyways, keeping up appearances? There are no prices given for ANY of the drinks (including soda) & not even if you ask they won't tell you. Portions were small and flavor was lacking. Their "lenguinne" sauce was very watered down lightly creamed pesto. The empanada appetizers were good. Most of the items on the 1 page menu were "not available." My husband ordered his meat well done, and the waiter kept trying to talk him out of it saying it will just be dry. It was served literally bloody anyways. Disgusting, are we animals on the hunt or humans eating here? Not geared towards family/children. It appears much larger in the 360 degree video on their FB page. Way overpriced. Staff and their service was professional that is the best thing about this restaurant. Exchange rate not stated either, it turned out to be very low and staff advised us to go across the street to the tipo de cambio, we had pesos anyways so that's what they got paid.

If you wanna know what Mexicali has as its distinctive feature you must eat at Mexquite. Itâs conveniently located a few blocks away from the Border from Calexico (Mexicali Downtown). Everything here is delicious. The meat is great. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. Try the tostadas and ask for the meat in fajitas (tiras de carne). But the king of the place is the Guacamole. It has a bitter bit taste and itâs ridiculously awesome. 100% avocado. I can guarantee you thereâs not any other place in Mexicali who offers you this freshness level. All the salsas are spectacular. Try the asada one. Congrats to all the team and the owners for having such a great Mexican eatery. Please open another location soon.

Perfection in restaurants does exist in Mexicali. Elegant, great taste and unique. Undoubtedly, the best steakhouse place in the city. Located in the financial district, in a mall called La Gran Via. It might be pricey but it is worth every penny.

What drew me to BC Gastrobar was their selection of craft microbrew beers. What kept me coming back was the excellent Italian food (provided by the restaurant right next door).I've travelled all over Mexico and I must say it is rare to find restaurants with good craft microbrews. Their pizzas are quite good, it seems to be a wood oven style pizza, with a wide variety of styles and toppings.I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a delicious meal with equally delicious beer. Give it a try.

I enjoyed this nice hidden restaurant. It offers some good steaks, Mexican food, and some sea food. My favorite still continues to be the "pulpo a las brasas" as an appetizer, which is like grilled octopus. I usually end up ordering this dish with some wine. This place offers a great variety of wines especially the great wines of the region of Baja California. Muchas gracias por su visita. Estamos a sus ordenes.

My wife and I love Mr Fredâs because itâs easy. You feel comfortable whatever you wear.Food is always very good and if not they accept responsibility and will not charge although we have rarely complained here.My wife had her prawn sandwich with a side of fries and I had a beautiful crisp crab & Avocado salad with lots of added goodies including small slices of orange and lots of small salad goodies and a wonderful creamy salad dressing which went perfectly with the whole dish. 2 glasses of a really tasty Pino blush house wine and they even made me a couple of slices of brown bread & butter. Mr Fredâs is on Open Table so if your a member you also collect points. Cannot believe people havenât joined this great little club. Maybe difficult to find too many places up here in Lancashire but in the Cities most top restaurants and chefs are featured on Open Table. We are already looking at our next supper at Mr Fredâs. Service here is always on the ball. Keep it up guys. David Room.
