Visited for the first time on a recent Saturday night when a special event was going on at the Nashoba Ski Valley so it was quite busy. We had reservations and were seated on time and our waiter arrived promptly. Drinks were served quickly but disappointed no frozen drinks available. We ordered Baked Fresh Boston Haddock with spinach and choice of potato â very good and ample portions. Burgers also very good â big and juicy, fries good. However, skip the Chicken and Ziti Parmagiana - not good at all, no taste, very dry. We did not even finish it. Service was good and friendly. Place was very large and open, but needs some updating. Big bar area, lots of TVs. Super view overlooking the ski mountain. Thought the prices a bit high for the place ($22 for fish & chips â really?). Overall pretty good and will probably try again when less busy

We were staying in Westford and chose Bixbite for breakfast as a choice that met the desires of the whole party. You can get a full breakfast or something light. The menu is fairly extensive, the food good and the prices moderate. Service was better than average and the atmosphere is nicer than a diner.

Not sure whether we were more impressed by the wonderful food or Rachel R. our wonderful server. Starting with Rachel--she was attentive and played along with the mood of our table (we were celebrating a birthday) and gave us plenty of time. She saw that one of the diners was having trouble deciding among the various drafts on offer and, without being asked, brought a small tasting flight. This resulted in a number of tasty Fiddlehead IPAs being ordered. From start to finish, she was a star. The party ordered steaks, 2 tenderloins and one hanger and a chicken pot pie (not made at home any more.) The steaks were cooked to perfection and the hangar was especially tender and flavorful even done medium rare. The frites with truffle oil and Parmesan were well seasoned and delightful. The chicken pot pie was as good as home made. A burrata and beet salad served as a side was large enough for all of us to share. Desert, again shared, was a sweet treat deconstructed smores cheese cake. For us, Gibbet Hill is a once in a while dining experience and this visit was made extra special by the quality of the service and the food.
