We tried this restaurant for the first time this week. The decor was nice and the staff were really friendly and polite. We ordered the speciality burger, the nachos and the kids had Spaghetti Bolognais. The kids enjoyed the Bolognaise but the other food was just OK. My advice to the chef would be to keep it simple. The meat in the burger itself was good but there was just too much else going on. A good burger brings our the taste of the burger not smothers it. The nachos again were too busy. Serve the nachos with the toppings on the side not heaped on top. On the plus side the table opposite ordered steaks which looked really good. Next time I will go for the steak!!!

A modern Hotel in a great location on the River Shannon.Lovely views from the bar, open air deck and dining room looking west over the marina and surrounding countryside.Food served in the bar area is top class with a special recommendation for the Friday night steak offer...Steak and trimmings with your drink for 20 euro.There are very few locations on the river to beat this bar.It is big...modern...without giving you the feeling that you are in a barn.Music here some weekends with spotless rooms and apartments available.Super location for a wedding.Children's play area in the carpark.Dear Kieran, wow what an amazing descriptive review. Visited the steakhouse when moored over night in the village. A busy pub yet excellent service, we did not book but they still made sure to fit us in. Good menu selection of tasty food, perfect for families and responsibly priced. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly.

Myself and my friend needed a catch up and something nice to eat after our session in the gym. We had a really lovely evening in the saloon, a nice quiet table for a chat and we both ordered the Asian Style Stirfry with Chicken. It arrived extremely quickly and was absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to all the staff for such amazing service. Highly recommend eating here.
