Our server (Ahmed) was exceptional! The manager was also very informative about our wine selection and picked a great bottle. We had the octopus, filet mignon and the braised rib, all of which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Highly recommend Angle!

We stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. Lake Wales is a short drive on the other side of the intercostal waterway.We were greeted by owner and chef and treated to an upscale, romantic atmosphere.My meal was delicious and tasty: lump crab cake sliders with homemade slaw. Husband couldnât finish his salad made with grape tomatoes, roast beef, Swiss cheese, smoked ham, cucumbers and turkey.Did I mention that everything was fresh?Quite a treasure!

Callaro's is an older restaurant located in a smaller older building with a terrific atmosphere inside. The server (Kathryn H.) was wonderful. She was friendly, very professional, knew her menu and made us very comfortable for our first time visiting. We took her suggestions and were very pleased. The filet mignon was everything she said it would be and one individual who had the crab cakes said they were some of the best he had every had, fresh and full of crab.
