We were in the area for an event and decided to try JB Dawson's for dinner on a Saturday evening. I will start by saying that everyone thought we had a great meal. I has the Fish n Chips. The fish had a very light but crispy coating that surrounded a very flaky fish. Three large pieces came in the plate along with the shoestring fries. A very good dish with wonderful taste. Well done. My wife had a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto and parm. She loved every bite. My brother-in-law had a steak, and I quote, "This is the best steak I have had in 20 years!"Another member had the Prime Rib with the corn on the cob and he cleaned his plate. Several other members had dishes with some type of 'Oscar' topping with chopped asparagus and everyone raved about the taste. So overall it was a great meal and I would have rated it as excellent except that the server failed to ever come by and refill our beverages. Other than that I would definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone. davidbmarietta24, thanks for the very kind review. I'm so glad to hear that everyone in your group loved everything. I am very sorry to hear that we failed as a team to fill your beverages. We pride ourselves on great food & service and it sounds like you only received 1/2 of our commitment. Please ask for me next time you are in town so I can put a face with your name. Sincerely, Robert Lautenbacher. General Manager.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
We love this restaurant chain. First time at this location, and it did not disappoint. We chose our 11 oz sirloin steak prior to being seated, which was doubly nice, and it was perfect! Sides of loaded baked potato and ceasar salad. Meagan was a great waitress, friendly and attentive. Great meal, for $21 and big enough to satisfy both of us!

I stopped into Longhorn on a business trip through Lancaster; Longhorn is my "go-to" steak place while on business travel because they're so consistent. This one is a good one, not a spectacular one.Dinner service at the bar with Meredith was fun - she's very attentive and a great conversationalist. I explained that I've eaten at probably 30 Longhorns, and we talked about the consistency and chain approach to quality. All good.My blackened Flo's filet, medium rare, came after my dinner salad and was prepared to my order. Unfortunately, it had sat for a while before being brought out, as it was room temperature at best. The side of broccoli was nicely seasoned and tasty. The wine...OK...with three choices for Cabernets, the Josh is acceptable but not remarkable. What frustrates me about Longhorn and its sister restaurants is that they calculate the recommended tip on a tax-inclusive amount, so they're asking you to tip on the tax, which is absolutely wrong. They need to fix this, or face a lawsuit, I'm thinking. All in all an OK dinner - just be careful on how you tip.

While dining out for business, we felt that the Stockyard would be a fine choice to fit the occasion.Very nice , warm property with a comfortable dining enviroment. The food was perpared well and the flavor was excellent. The service ---stunk!A bit pricey for less that acceptable service the tarnished our experence. The waiter wasn't to be seen for 15 minutes after 'dropping' our food.We tipped accordingly and spoke to him why we didn't tip him iin a customary manner..I would look forward to returning sometime in the forseeable future, but not seating this this persons service area.I thank you for taking the time for expressing your disappointment for dinner at the Stockyard Inn. We, as owners, are also disappointed and upset that you were not provided a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately, this was not brought to my attention, and I was not aware of the poor service you received. We are a family-owned business for 68 years and are committed daily to provide each and every guest the very best dining experience.I hope you will give us another opportunity and come in for dinner, so that we can provide you with the service and attentiveness that we feel every guest should experience.
