Service is outstanding, our waiter was great and also funny.Highlight: Beluga Cavier that was an experience in itself, as for someone trying it for the first time.. I loved it & the Wagyu Tasting Platter. Nothing beats the 12+ Wagyu.. words cannot describe the taste other than it was so buttery, the truffle potato puree also tasted amazing! Would definitely come back again.. It is by the far the best wagyu I've had in all my experiences.

i had walked past Pony on past visits but never thought to try it... i am so glad i did this time. Wednesday night middle of the week, managed to get a table ok. I had a stunning Wagyu brisket.. probably the best brisket i have ever had. i told Neil the chef as he walked past my table when service had quietened down. He took the time to sit down and explain how it was prepared and cooked, which was fascinating. i said that i would hopefully be back tomorrow as i had enjoyed the food, the service, the wine so much. (excellent choice of reds by the way, and served at the right temperature). i asked for his recommendation for tomorrow and he said hanger steak, which i duly ordered and had a great Spanish sausage dish to start. On both nights the front of house staff were amazing, courteous, prompt but never pushy. The overall ambience of the place is enhanced by music which showcased a wide choice of styles, which i loved. And if you want a more communal touch, there is a long table outside where you could be sitting next to anyone...it looked great fun, and i might choose that next time. If i could give this a sixth star, i would......Thank you for choosing to dine with us and I’m glad to hear that your experience was a memorable one. We look forward to welcoming you back to Pony Dining in the near future.

We stopped here while touring the Botanical Garden as it is across the street and in the lobby of the Intercontinental Hotel. On Sundays and holidays there is a $5/person surcharge. My wife had the cauliflower salad, which was excellent. I enjoyed a Caesar salad. The service was fine, but not great.
