Latitude is a beautiful spacious restaurant with a good selection of in house beers. Service is generally good and you would expect the food to be good to great... but it's not. I don't know if they spent so much money on the building that they can't afford to serve a decent chicken breast sandwich or if they are just not interested in the food side of their business. My chicken breast sand wich arrived with mayo on the side, as I requested. When I applied the mayo I was surprised that the chicken breast was so small. It didn't even cover half of the bun. I called the waitress over and asked if this was the standard size of their grilled chicken breasts, frankly, expecting her to say "No, I'll get you another." Instead, she said "Yes" and walked away. OK. Guess that's all I get. What I didn't expect was how tough and dry the chicken breast was. Can't recall ever eating a chicken breast sandwich with such a tough piece of chicken. Burger King's grilled chicken breast sandwich is 100 times better at half the cost! In addition, the order of fries were skimpy. Tasty but skimpy. At the end of the meal I expressed my disappointment to the waitress and asked that she share it with her manager. Their response was to comp my small draft beer... the only item that was perfect. Not sure it's worth another visit.

Webster's Prime

We at Webster's Prime love our location, and love celebrating our area's culture and harvest. Steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal ingredients come together to create a dynamic dinner menu. From our family of staff, to the ingredients on our plates, Webste

Unfortunately our anniversary fell on the same evening as prom night and WMU graduation. The planets did not align for us at Webster's Prime for our celebration. We were seated near a table of around 16 or 17 loud and cackling teenagers who were not taught the etiquette of fine dining. We ordered steaks nedium. They were delivered to our table resembling shoe leather. So dry,so crispy....no moisture whatsoever. I quickly returned them. While we waited, we crunched on our charred brussel sprouts which were cold on the outside but scalding hot on the inside...typical of the effects of a microwave oven. Our second steaks were palatable but not delicious. Our creme brule also came to our table charred and blackened...not the golden amber color it was supposed to be. Our entire dining experience was a disaster, but the evening was topped off by nearly being struck by a speeding valet driver in the parking lot as he whipped around the corner as we were exiting the walk bridge from the hotel to the parking garage. If you're debating experiencing Websters Prime, I hope you enjoy burned food. Bring your reflective vest to navigate the parking structure. We are deeply saddened to hear of your poor experience with us this past Saturday! On behalf of our entire team, we would like to sincerely apologize for your disappointing visit to our dining room, and for your very unsettling departure from the hotel as well.Your review was read aloud in our daily team huddle this afternoon, and all staff members unanimously agreed that if they were to experience the visit described, they would be very frustrated as well. We strive to be perfect, and your atypical food service during high volume or not, is unacceptable. When we miss the simplest of details, temperature of food or seasoning, we have little chance to recover. More importantly, when we do not succeed in rectifying the situation to the guests liking in that exact moment, we have an even smaller chance of recovering ones return. We would love to have you come back, as Webster's Prime is much better than what you received during your most recent visit. We can only hope you will give us the second chance to give you the positive dining experience that you deserved on your anniversary, and deserve every time you set foot into our doors.

The Blue Dolphin is within walking distance of The Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. We had lunch with our daughter and her family prior to attending a Sunday matinee performance. The food was very good and reasonably priced. There is a variety of menu items but the emphasis is on Greek food. The service was very slow.

Outback Steakhouse

Let's face it, if you are going to an Outback Steakhouse, you are looking for a relatively affordable steak experience that is meant to be filling and quick. A couple of times a year, when I am just too tired to make dinner, we will order to go - and I have to say that they are consistently good at attending to special requests and to bringing food to the curb that is hot and well-prepared.
