The last few times here have been horrible. Yesterday, for instance, I ordered a steak hoagie. Well, the steak was non- existent. Even the waitress commented that there was no steak on the steak hoagie. So I sent it back, to see if I could get some meat to go with the peppers and onions. They flatly refused. The manager, Mr. Davis, came over and said the portions were pre-weighed out. Apparently in a thimbleâwhich would have worked had I had two prices of bread each the size of a penny. But I had a hoagie bun. Filled with nothing but peppers and onions. I was embarrassed for them, being called âsteaksâ, and flatly refusing to put the slightest bit of steak on a steak hoagie. To make matters worse, when they brought the bill, they gave it to my girlfriend, knowing full well a woman would be wishy-washy and tip them anyway. Which of course she did, because she knows the owner. This place has gone downhill in just a year. Iâd recommend going to a chain restaurant where they have the resources to make shoddy service right, instead of skimping horribly on the product that the restaurant is named after. That being said, if you love peppers and onions, go to steaks eatery. Their steak hoagie is loaded with nothing but.

Family birthday dinner for my mother who loves her red meat. Filet was superb and cooked to order. My momâs NY strip was huge allowing for tasty leftovers. Sides are pretty basic. Bread served was good. The service was excellent and we were happy they were able to accommodate a reservation for 6 with a few hours notice. Manager checked on us. Very busy even on a Thursday night. Lots of larger tables so perfect for crowd. Very nice of them too to let my 90 year old mom pick her own dessert. Crime Brûlée was wonderful!

Texas Roadhouse is one of our "go-to" chains and the Jackson location does not stand out good or bad. The food is always good and the prices are reasonable.

Best dining experience ever. The food was great but the customer service was amazing! We were greeted by a host who even opened the door for us! Our server never forgot a thing, and even the manager came to our table to make sure everything was going good! This is my go-to spot whenever I go out to eat.

We went for a family outing and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The waitstaff seemed a little overworked but service was pretty good, especially since more than half our group chose the buffet, which seemed overpriced. Menu meals were typical average comfort food. Our only real complaint was that French dip sandwich was very gristly.
