Interesting decor,but no real ambiance I had the pasta in squid ink, it was ok nothing special. My husband had to settle with a dish as his first two choices were unavailable. Staff were pleasant, but too keen to clear our plates and bring the next course, even when we asked for time between courses. I thought it wasn't good value.

I have resided in Hong Kong for more than 25 years and have a fair idea on what is the norm in restaurants and bars in HK. This afternoon we decided to have a drink at the Maze Grill at Ocean Terminal. We ordered our drinks at the bar and the lady tending the bar asked if we wanted to settle the bill immediately or run a tab. We elected the latter. The waiter brought us our drinks together with a bill. We proceeded to drink our drinks and once halfway through the waiter came back looking for payment. I then told him that we had elected to run a tab, he left and came back later stating he wanted our credit card to keep behind the bar. What makes this all totally absurd is that we were the only people in the restaurant and there were at least ten staff sitting around there doing nothing. With our drinks we were not provided with a bowl of snacks which is customary in HK. I opted to settle the bill in cash and leave only to be short changed (albeit by a small amount). I can understand a credit card being requested if an establishment is full and they fear someone escaping without paying. My advice, avoid this establishment there are far nicer places to enjoy a drink such as the Captainâs Bar at the Mandarin Hotel where no matter how busy they are, you are not treated as a common criminal.Dear Gary P,Thank you for your comments in relation to your recent dining experience. My second time in this place. A significant drop in quality & service. The attitude of the staff is now more careless & let it be, starting from the hostess on the door who apparently thinks herself too great to do a professional job & ending with some of the waiters. The quality of the steak was medium, cooking was off & marination was too strong & overpowers the meat. When a client order one of your most expensive steaks & leaves half of it on the plate & that does not ring a bell or raise some questions, it is time for you to reconsider why you are in this line of business in the first place!I used to recommend this place based on my previous experience. The restaurant had been moved to lyndhurst terrace last year. Food was good with very good price. Live band and you can request songs if you like during the dinner time. After 9, the band performed more lively music so that you can move your hips in the dancing floor. The best thing was they always played old songs, like 70s to 90s. Very good place if you are over 35. Of course, if you are young like hip hops, raps.... This is definitely not your place.

I have always love Blacksheep Restaurants and I have wanted to try all of them and I am doing it slowly. This visit we had the starter with smoked bacon and the sausage and for main course we have 2 different steak and for dessert we had toasted marshmallows. The steak we have ordered medium rare which was just perfect. The Marshmallows that we have toasted has chocolate ice cream inside. For a dessert lover like me just enjoyed it so much!!!!!!Please keep some space for the Marshmallows! last but not least i need to compliment about the service! The Service is just impeccable. We always enjoy our meal at any Dining Concept restaurants, but this time our experience is far from excellent. Bistecca is a steakhouse at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong. The tables are tightly packed and quite close to one another. Service is quite disappointing. Food quality varies. The fritto misto is hot and crispy. The Delmonico bone-in ribeye is grilled to perfection. The sides, truffle mac and cheese and cauliflower, are just okay.
