Reviews on Steakhouse food in Helena, Montana, United States. Although the once glittering Last Chance Creek has long dried up, Helena's Gold Rush history is reflected in its preserved architecture, from the spires of St. Helena Cathedral and the Queen Anne style Original Governor's Mansion to the restored miner's village of Reeder's Alley and the oldest house in the city, Pioneer Cabin. For those seeking adventure, the paths of Mount Helena Park provide ample activity. Helena also offers much in the way of arts and culture with theaters and galleries.

The Wassweiler is an upscale restaurant, located in a historic building. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed. We offer an extensive wine list as well as a variety of beers.
this place is amazing. Very friendly staff which makes you feel right at home from the moment you enter the restaurant. The food and service are exceptional. Try the bacon wrapped filet and the mushroom tart. A vast wine list for a restaurant of this size. Ambiance is great and perfect for couples; no kids the night we were there. Highly recommend.

A rich, inviting atmosphere, an endless wine list, quality service and fantastic steaks, seafood, burgers, salads and more are the hallmarks of the premier steak company in Helena, MT.
Their special bread came as we were finishing our main course. Dessert never came at all, we had to plead for our bill and cancel dessert. Server seemed annoyed when we asked when things would be served. Salmon was very good, salads were average, lamb was disappointing. Especially at these prices, they really need to upgrade their service.
