Had lunch here on a Saturday and found the place very busy but there was a team of enthusiastic staff to wait on. Good choice and tasty sauces on our rib and chicken combos. First restaurant on our SA trip but my boys, who ate a lot of meat during the next 3 weeks, said best fillet and ribs were at Pioneer's! Don't forget to ask for an additional salad or something else if you like this, it's not included as in Europe (as we learned later on ;-)) Cosy on the couches inside. Service was ok but we've had friendlier waitresses along the way. Owner came to check if everything was ok, that was great!Thank you for your kind comment, sorry for the late responce, I only saw it now, going through all the comments. We appreciate it very much. I have a wall that I put up the comments, the staff need to see and be motivated. Thank you again. The waitress will see and know!

First ever visit here. I ordered the burger with bacon and avocado, it was awesome and big ( see photo ) staff were friendly. Good choice of craft beers Thank you David !

I found this restaurant by chance on a drive from Hazeyview to Sabie. What a gem.Lovely gift shop and a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating available.Will definitely stop there again on my next visit to that part of the country
