I agree with other reviewers. Of so many entrecôte restaurants in Geneva, I find this restaurant better than any others. Perhaps I should say it is quite unique. The atmosphere is definitely different from other traditional entrecôte restaurants in the city. It is more relaxed and casual. Maybe because it is located near the uni. Yet, it serves delicious entrecôte, chips and salad, and even an appetizer! Moreover, the service is great - much better than any other traditional restaurants whose service can be arrogant and machine-like at times. Iâd recommend this restaurant if any visitors to Geneva would like to taste a good entrecôte. Definitely Iâll come back, too!

The Le Relais restaurants have the most classic âset menuâ. AKA phenomenal salad, steak and chips. This is a great one; plenty of space, charming bilingual service and delicious food.Pick rare or medium (not medium rare). Youâll get a menu for dessert - itâs all worth it.

My husband and I were staying at the Grand Kempinski Hotel and Le Grill is part of that hotel. We dined there one night and it was a great experience. The service is outstanding and the steak selections are on par with what you would find at a premium steakhouse in the US. The best part though was the dessert, a deconstructed Twix bar which was to die for! I would imagine that you would need a reservation during peak tourist times. I would recommend this for a decent steak, nice and relaxed with good and friendly service. Locals use this place mainly for the quality of the steak. Not overpriced.

We had two lovely steaks cooked the way we like them, medium, medium rare. The desserts we had were cheesecake and trio of desserts (crème brulee, chocolate mouse, and lemon meringue). All washed down with a nice half bottle of house red wine. The service was good and the atmosphere just right. It was a good birthday dinner. The bill was chf156 which included a hefty chf10 for 80cl of water. Don't think there is a need to charge so much for water.

I had arranged this as a birthday treat for my partner who loves seafood. As you can guess from the name, lobster features highly, and my partner chose the pasta filled with lobster. It was very tasty and well-presented and cooked. The restaurant was busy but we were not rushed. We were quickly sat, as I had made a reservation. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. We had a relaxed meal and everything was fine.

We escaped a convention at the PalExpo and walked across the street to this highly recommended restaurant for lunch. We had the special, with included a steak, fried potatoes and salad. Wine was extra, and we had a very good Swiss Gamay. Price came to about $58 each, which is a very good value in Switzerland. I liked the stuffed grizzly bear in the foyer & the fact the chef personally met the guests as they entered.
