It is part of the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. The population was 65,834 at the 2010 census. Founded in 1772, the town contains the B. & O. Railroad Museum's branch at the Ellicott City Station, built in 1830 as the first terminus of the initial line. The downtown historic district is located in the valley of the small Tiber River, with its east end abutting the Patapsco River, which forms the Baltimore County line. As of the 2000 census, Ellicott City surpassed Towson (county seat of neighboring Baltimore County) for the first time, as the largest unincorporated county seat in the country.

This restaurant is half way between our friends and us and it was a great place to meet. It took each of us about 45 minutes to get there and it was worth it. Our friend is in a wheelchair and has minimal use of his hands. He loved his food and we all thought all our entries were terrific. The staff was very accommodating and took excellent care of us. We arrived at 6:00 which was a great time for the four of us but when we left, the noise level increased significantly. Since we are all in our 70's, hearing is important and the acoustics were not that great. However, we all agreed that we would meet there again. Thank you for this great review. Extremely fast and attentive service, which was a nice change from the unfortunate lack of good service I'm encountering at many Outback locations over the years. Excellent wings and coconut shrimp to start off as an appetizer. The ribs were extremely tender, falling off the bone. And the grass-fed burger with cheddar was great, too. Overall a wonderful experience for a party of five. Really good food and wonderful service.

A fun place for special occasions but while you get a lot of food, the food quality is just ok. Last time we went our table was full and the cook did not give us our order but instead divided the steak up and gave our portion to others at the table. It was only after we said something to the waiter that they apologized. The sushi is good, the service is ok. Overall a fun time but expensive for what it is.
