Enjoyed Great Food and Excellent Service on Motherâs Day with Wife, Daughter in Law, Son and Grandchildren, ages 6 to 24. Wonderful Oysters Bienville appetizers, Large Salads enough to share along with abundant sides including Potatoes 3 different ways, Spinach Au Gratin and and of course Super Delicious Steaks. Everyone enjoyed this Fantastic Mothers Day Meal Expensive but worth every penny. We shall return......

While we had made an annual food pilgrimage to this wonderful restaurant since the mid-1990s and had never been disappointed, we had not been able to get to the beach for the last 5 years. Anytime there is a gap that big, a valued dining experience has the potential to disappoint. Food service is a grueling business, owners lose interests, favorite spots are sold. So relieved to find that was NOT the case here. We go to the early seating before 6 pm because it is such a good deal. The wine recommended by our truly excellent wait staff was wonderful. Fried green tomato appetizers were spot on. My husband got the redfish dish which we have ordered annually for over 20 years and it was every bit as fantastic as always. I moved into new territory with scallops which were perfectly prepared with deference to how rich scallops can be if the rest of the plate is over complicated. Perfect here. Our daughter got the pasta with meat sauce which was the only dish that was 4/5. Excellent but not perfect. We also got the mixed vegetable dish to give us more veggies with our meal and also more left overs for lunch. This had mushrooms, asparagus, kale, and, like everything else, was awesome. The view is spectacular. We were so delighted to find that our present day experience completely lived up to all our wonderful memories of this place. Parabens!!

We were there staying in the hotel and made reservations for New Years Eve. Normally that's not a night we go out. Took forever to get a drink after being seated. Appetizer was good but everything else was average at best. Very Expensive-not worth the hype. Unplanned visit to Destin resulted with us having our first evening meal here. Staff were helpful and informative. Food was superb was not not disappointed. Very reasonably priced and was well worth the money. Would highly recommend this restaurant

My wife and I love this restaurant. Every time we dine here we leave pleased. The Steak and Lobster special on Monday nights is a real hit. The service is always exceptional. We will keep coming back. It is a part of the Blooming Brands chain of restaurants and all of the are very good!
