Get here early (6pm) for dinner on Friday nights, the place is packed! Can be 50min wait for table if you get there at 7pm like U did. Excellent service and the herb crusted filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Outdoor patio and bar both very busy. Bilingual staff (at hostess stand & my waiter) were delightful. The staff took extremely good care of guests as the waited for a table (served drinks and appetizers to small side tables in waiting area).

Traditional Uruguayan restaurant whose main highlight are the noble cuts of cattle Aberdeen Angus, imported from Uruguay, and grilled in the typical "grill"
What a wonderful experience! The food, service and setting were all first rate. We shared their Montevideo Beef - absolutely marvelous with an Argentinian Malbec! For dessert we had Creme do Papaya... the combination makes the long flight from the US worthwhile.Absolutely one of the BEST meals that I have enjoyed in over ten years of travel to Brazil.

I keep coming back to this place and it is great every time. It is a family run business, and the attention to detail and service is first class. I don´t consider this to be the same as the more commercial Rodizio´s like Vento Harragano or Fogo de Chão - it doesn´t pretend to be, although it certainly gives them a good run for the money. The buffet selection is not huge, but it has everything you want, and of a high quality. The meats are fantastic, well seasoned and rotate freely. You don´t leave with the feeling that the prime meats were handed to the fastest runner in the place, so he can swoop through and back to the kitchen without losing too much of his precious cargo of meat - you get it all here.Where it really wins out though is service - if you are with a smaller table, they make a point of checking on you regularly to see if you need anything, or want any particular cut of meat. Sometimes smaller tables lose out in placed like this, when you see the cut you want arriving at the table of ten next to you, and it all getting served there leaving nothing for you, but that does not happen here.Great value too - mid-week prices are R$38 (from memory) for women, and slightly more for men. Prices on Saturday are around R$55 and Sunday around R$65 a head, so around half the price of the big name restaurants in the centre of the city.Well worth a visit.
