You must try their rajas con queso (I think this was the grilled chili pepper stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon), their guacamole and beans as starters.....EXCELLENT! I had the tacos (Especial Doradas and Doradas). I prefer their soft corn shell better. Their tacos are not the best I've tried but the meat was very good (no oily taste, tender and seasoned). The restaurant is clean and our waitress was superb. Large windows let in plenty of the Mexican sun. Easy and free parking. Family friendly and good for a casual business lunch.

We are the best option for steaks and wine in Chihuahua city. We offer many options as entrees, from tapas to shrimp tacos. Our specialty is the Aguachile de Ribeye or Costillitas. You can find excelent quality of food in a cozy relaxed environment.
Second visit to Bovinos. About the same experience as the first. Nothing negative. Food was decent. Service was good. Easy walk from Staybridge, Holiday Inn, and Wingate. Group of 4 ate. 2 really liked the meal. 2 though it was OK. Would go back for variety. Heard the breakfast is good, but did not visit for breakfast.

This is a traditional Brazilian steakhouse. Several of the meat offerings were delicious, but tepid at best. They would have been much more palatable hot. The salad bar was excellent, and offered a variety of fruits, cheeses and breads. The ambiance is nice. This would be an excellent place to "pop the question", or celebrate a special event. The staff was courteous and professional.

On our last leg of our copper canyon tour, we dined at La Calzona (the bare footed lady) restored from the vintage office complex used by Luis Terrazas, notable land Barron of the late 1800s.Upscale Bar & Restaurant. Impromptu tour can be arranged with the Hostess to see Cattle Office, old residences now used as group dining & meeting areas.

This place has great food and the place is really nice. Juices are complimentary with your food, so is coffee. I really loved the chilaquiles and my wifed loved her eggs and toast.

Went there for a business lunch. I seldom order steak in Mexico because of bad experience. I tried to order Medium Rare and they always come out Medium sell or sell done. The menu has a chart showing description and color of meat cooked Rare to Well done. I gave it a chance and ordered MR, it came out perfect. The table-side salsa was great. Order Hot if you can really handle it. Nice place for steak. service was great.

Though the food and service are Ok, there nothing unique about this place. We ordered a shrimp salad, which was mostly tosed lettuce, and rather bland. The was a violinist palying soft music, and he was kind enough to play Las Mañanitas for my wife, on her birthday.

Went here as it was a Sunday night, with little options already open. Service was great, food was so-so. The beef was tender but have tasted much better options in other restaurants. Would not recommend this option unless it is the only option open. There were many foreigners and location is quite central.

*Only 5 minutes from the cities historical center by taxi.*The restaurant was clean with subdued lighting and many interesting photos & historical items on the walls.*The staff and waiters were attentive, friendly and bilingual.*The menu was limited mainly to meat with steaks being their signature offerings.*Serving portions were large.*I had guacamole dip, tortilla soup and a rib-eye steak with a baked potato. Everything was flavorable and perfectly prepared.*I had an Indio beer and a glass of rose wine which went well with my meal.*The prices were responsible.I recommend this steakhouse to someone looking for a good steak dinner when in Chihuahua.

We had very nice and long lunch here. Since we were quite a few people, we ordered starters and steaks to share. Hence, tried quite a few different dishes. All the starters were excellent, in particular the ones with shrimps, the sauce was fantastic. Several types of steaks came along. Some were better than the others, but very good overall. I must say desserts were nice too, although the size of each was enormous. You can easily share one between 3-4 people. Of course, sotol came along at the end. We had a good time! Recommended!
