It was a quite afternoon and the restaurant wasnât full by any means. I waited for the waitress to take my order, which was no big deal. I got my drink and wasnât fussed about it. Ordered a medium angus steak thinking it was their signature dish. Long and short is that I waited for a good thirty minutes to get served a rubbery piece of meat that was quite disappointing to say the least. Oh well thatâs one less place to worry about

A historic building with more than 130 years since open itâs doors takes you into an interesting experience, I will call it âdiner at the museumâ: from the exterior to the revolving front door to the neo-gothic interior decorations to the waiters uniforms and if you are lucky to see a traditional folkloric Romanian show (which is just during the weekends). Food is great, they have theyâre own beer and Romanian wines. We had bean soup with smoked meat, roasted pork knuckles with cabbage, trout, spicy sausages and homemade cake and Romanian doughnuts. Highly recommended.

Busy restaurant when we arrived . Good mixture of tourists locals and students. Young lady singing Romanian songs to backing tracks was easy to listen to. Partner had ribs which she loved.I I had carbonara which was very tasty but thought a little dry. Had a lovely local wine . Toilets were spotless

Something is missing here...Ambience is well designed, waiters somehow attentive and polite, but the plates arrangements need more attention: personally i could not get noticed the potatoes in a knew(my opinion, not a good option)! Minisize cabage salad was also a downside, however beef meat was on my taste!

Same old new impression about this restaurant. I have been there some years ago and I was impressed by the location and services but almost no impression about the taste of the food. Same today with the food which has an average taste specific for a hotel restaurant with captive clients.

Nicely decorated, good service (when full might be a bit slow), so relax and enjoy. Its not fast food.Stick to Romanian dishes (like the great eggplant salads), kebab, etc.Dont order a mix. Its never great. Anywhere. Always part of the mix will be over cooked.Not cheap, not for local dishes... Its great. Enjoyed a great meal, sticking to Romanian products, wine, beef, and veggies. All were great, nicely flavored and well cooked. The Romanian bone in ribeye was very interesting, not very fatty, but still tender and a nice flavor. My waiter Iulian was very attentive and made great recommendations to help me choose.
