All the local restaurants sharing the Great American have really good green chile cheese burgers and steak fries. The Vinton steaks have been disappointing the last few years. Go for barbecue or chicken. The slaw, beans, and potatoes are usually great, too.

We went for the bone marrow on the recommendation of a lcoal and were not disappointed. An appetizer in half for full - we took the full for just the two of us: 6 bones with the roasted marrow inside. And they bring you tortillas to put it in - a new style for us and just yummy! The arrechera (hanger steak) was pretty good, if a bit gristly - it was still tender reheated a few days later, which is pretty good for a steak. Enjoyed the presentation of the chicken enchiladas - which is more a cheese enchilada with chopped grilled chicken on the top - and I chose a salsa verde. Beans were good, too. The tres leches cakes is one of the better ones. At 7pm on a Saturday, the wait for a table was 45 minutes, and there's limited seating while you wait. Wish they offered margarita service while waiting in line! They did have beer and water in an ice cooler. We had nice margaritas with our bone marrow, though it didn't seem very strong, even though the waiter said they added a second shot for us. Service was very friendly and helpful. Parking was full when we arrived, except for one place on the street; looks like there might have been a dirt lot next door.
No copy cats here. This is a nice family owned and operated family business. Itâs a great group of people, to begin with-a multicultural family. The food shows the influence. Kinda Tex. Kinda Mex. Easy to find, convenient parking and hours. It appears to be ADA accessible inside and outside seating. A place for kids to play. Snacks to eat while you wait. There are no freezers here. ALL FRESH. That brisket you may be considering has been cooking for hours. Most portions are ridiculous. For instance, it took me 4 days to eat my appetizer. There are evening hours, express for lunchtime and a Sunday brunch. Oh! And they are quite accommodating for special dietary requests
