Second visit here. Greeting was better this time and we got a table virtually straight away even though it was very busy. I think everyone was trying to get the deal to eat before 6.00pm. Service was very good, I believe her name was Riana. Food was good as usual. I couldn't believe how many people were celebrating birthdays that day. We counted 7 just in the short time we were there.Overall a good visit albeit atad noisy.

Our dinner was very good but the service will just never be what it should be until the waitstaff is trained properly. That goes for almost all of the restaurants in Alexandria. We ordered wine and had to remind the waiter three times to bring it. We were asked twice during our meal if we were going to want desert. I said I had hardly begun eating so I did not know. When we were finished, he just brought the ticket without asking about desert again. All you have to do is drive south to Lafayette if you want good food "and" good service.

We had come here on our way back to Texas from Avery Island about six months ago... we loved it so much that we made plans to stop here on our family trip to New Orleans. We walked in at 2:50 pm and were told by wait staff that they are closed from 3:00-5:00. We couldn't possibly wait until 5:00pm to get back on the road to New Orleans. We were totally disappointed.
