We had lunch at this lovely restaurant on Wednesday, 22 February 2017. We were with a group of retirees of approximately 500 people. During our meal, we were entertained my traditional folklore musicians. The meal choice was a wide range and I had a pork chop with fries, salad, and fried zucchini patties. The house wine was very good. The service of the professional waiters at this restaurant is unbelievable!! Whatever we asked for, the waiters were attentive and polite. Considering the large crowd of retirees, the kitchen staff produced food in a timely manner, fast, hot and deliciously prepared and presented. I have eaten on other occasions at this restaurant and I highly recommend anyone to visit for a fine, mid-range cost meal. Superb!! Two waiters: Stavros and Andreas are the type of employees that every good restaurant should have on their payroll.

The African Experience in Athens : Rib Eyes, Chakalakas, Burgers 'n Pitas
My fiancé is from this area of Athens and every time we visit I make sure she takes me at least once. If you like grilled meat this is the place for you. The food is excellent and perfectly cooked. I hear at night is can be really full so maybe a reservation would be best. I find the prices really good and the portions are generous. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the north of Athens.

Sasi's: Sizzle 'n Drizzle is a carnivores feast. It offers the finest cuts of beef expertly grilled and accompanied with a selection of South African wine. It's about casual dinning with great steaks, great wine and great people.
A quite popular place for all kinds of meat and sweet dessert lovers; a little bit of the problem is the parking availability in the surrounding streets. Excellent meat options, a wider variety of wine would be nice, nice surroundings, top service and as a dessert try the banoffe or the chocolate mousse.

The restaurant is set back slightly off the main road just near the Iguana Supermarket. It always looked busy but we were initially put off by the bar next door owned by the same family and part of the Magic Hotel just up the road as evidenced by the crockery! The tables had linen tablecloths rather than the usual paper overcloths and cotton napkins. the white tables and chairs were taverna style but almost halfway between a taverna and restaurant. We started with complimentary ouzo bread and a tapenade and ordered Dolmades in a white wine & herb sauce plus a melon starter to refresh our palates in readiness for a rabbit stifado & peeled prawns with garlic rice & vegetables. We also ordered a litre of local rose wine. The food was extremely good and sufficient without being over bearing and leaving us feeling stuffed.Asking for the bill we received complimentary coffee and shots of local liqueur. 45 Euros. We returned later in our holiday when all tavernas had been affected by a rainstorm . Platania had managed to move tables under cover which did make it a little more cramped but otherwise it was fine. Ouzos tomato dip & toasted bread, Dolmades (they were so good the first time it was inevitable we would have them again) Courgette fritters with Tzatziki. Rabbit Stifado & a lamb kleftiko . The seemingly usual complimentary coffees and shots for a total of 40 Euros. Service overall was very good & attentive, food quality & menu size was very good. Fear of noise etc from the next door bar was unwarranted. Pretty damn good overall.

i was in the area and decided to have lunch at this place. so we selected the lentils salad, the dish with a selection of hummus, tzatziki....and the bastrami katayifi. the only acceptable dish was the lentils salad, the selection tatsted really weird and non of the served dips matched its name i.e. the HUMMUS was white which is really weird because the HUMMUS is originally Lebanese and it is yellowish. As for the bastrami katayifi, i am more than sure that they were frozen and heated. NEVER AGAIN
