Have been to Coco Bahia now twice and will continue to come back. Love sitting and having some appetizers and a margarita overlooking the Zihuatanejo bay. The Sashimi al negro, or blackened tuna is delicious! Itâs raw but with a mild crust on the edges. Thereâs no need to dip in the soy sauce because it perfectly seasoned and not spicy at all. Sometimes I order two itâs that good!! The margaritas are strong and not too sweet and the beer is cold and served in a beer koozie!! Nice touch guys. On both occasions Jesus was our waiter and he is as friendly as they come. He does speak English but we enjoy practicing our Spanish with him. He was attentive and the service was prompt. If ours in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo this is a must visit. Most people go to the popular spots along Playa La Ropa or Madera, but this is a little off the beaten path, in a different neighborhood with a different perspective of the bay. Two thumbs up for sure!!!

We had a table right near the front of the restaurant, so had both a view of the sunset plus close proximity to the little mangrove swamp with crocodiles. Would say that was a unique experience. We were told that this was not a type of crocodile that was aggressive toward humans, but there was a barrier of sorts just in case. Now on to the food... one of the best meals I had in Zihua, a fish and vegetable combination bathed in a coating of egg batter. It was called a relleno, but was not a chili relleno. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had a beautiful white fish and the margaritas were great. The service was excellent as well. I got quite full and they offered a box "para llevar." I'm always a little hesitant to do this in Mexico, but they were gracious, and I hated to waste this exquisite food.

From the outside, this restaurant appears to be quite small but it is just the opposite. We had shrimp and steak tacos. There were four tacos to a plate instead of the usual three. The margaritas were tasty. We will be back.

This is a little secret place. It is a large restaurant. Beautiful and super clean. The coconut shrimps are the best I ever had. The scallops sashimi to gym for. The portion are large. tacos de Camarones are super. You have to try it. You will love it. The staff is smiling and some of them speak English as well. I am here with my little Coco chanel and my husband. Great way to spend an afternoon or good evening. They have a band on the weekend from 4 to 8 Mexican lunch and happy hours. Try it you will love it.
