The hotel is placed in La Mancha´s Heart, next to areas described in the book Don Quixote de la Mancha, where the customers can live part of the experiences that the already mentioned knight lived. Located into Villarrobledo, a city whose main two events
Wow, we just stopped here because we needed to eat somewhere and we saw a big sign from the motorway . What a surprise . No one spoke any English or French here but we took the menu of the day , which had a lot of choices , as we couldn't really understand them we suggested the helpful waitress told us what we should have . We started with a soup , don't know what it was called but seemed like a lot of vegetables in a meat broth ( full of garlic too but not salty ) the we had Lamb cutlets and some chips , the lamb was excellently and correctly seasoned and cooked in a fire to perfection , also three good sized pieces, really perfect and moist but cooked . The chips were homemade fluffy inside , large but not too large and crispy outside and not too fatty . We finished with fruit , I had half a pineapple , exactly right ripeness and beautifully presented , also served cold . All this with a bottle of mineral water and two amazing black coffees ( which even George Clooney would endorse I'm sure ) for ... 14 euro. ( Each of course) . Why why why can't so many other places cook simple food correctly ? This place could teach many French restaurants a lesson . We will make a detour to eat here again and by the way there is a shop in the restaurant selling superb local produce at sensible prices .

The food here is more than excellently cooked modern Spanish fare. The menu is inventive and features unique dishes that you will never experience anywhere elseThere is a good range of dishes and an excellent wine list. There is also an impressively extensive gin list - if you like gin and tonic you should definitely try one of the unusual varieties on offerThe desserts are particularly spectacular - I had Lima-limon which is a good choice if you don't have much room left, not too filling but refreshing and satisfying. My partner had pineapple ravioli - this is absolutely out of this world!
