Albaroque is directly cross the street from the Monastery's Albergue and has a great pilgrims menu and regular menu as well. Try the muscles or the Galician soup as an appetizer, the chicken or pasta bolonaise, and definitely the Santiago cake for desert. The device is good and you can watch the comings and hounds across the street. For 10 euros you cannot do better.

Spent one night on while on the Camino trail. Food was sensational. Very generous in portion. Could not finish entire meal. Steak was amazing. The staff were very friendly & passionate about service. Quality of food exceptional. Was more pricey than Pilgrim menu we were used to but worth every penny.

The price of the set menu is is far too low for the quality and amount of food. Try the fried mushroom starter. You won't be disappointed . Many of the desserts are home made. Fresh vegetables from the garden . All served with a smile and very efficient.
Ci siamo fermati per bere qualcosa dopo la discesa da o cebreiro, la ragazza era molto simpatica e il locale pulito

It is a very nice stop where to eat if you come from O Cebreiro in the little village of Triacastela. The food was very good and cheap menus for pilgrims. It is a very good idea to stop here and regain energy if you want to keep up for more km towards to Sarria. The waitress was nice.Thank you very much for choosing our restaurant

Honest food for a honest price. The croquetas were outstanding, the rest was good enough. Great service. It looked more like a bar than a restaurant, though. It was a nice meal after a hard day.

Immerse in the beautiful nature of Galicia, this restaurant is not only a super place to have a good meal, but it is a meeting point for all walking the Camino. Ensaladilla, Pulpo, Spanish Tortilla are just some of the delicious food we tested there. Definitely worth to rest. As the owner was keeping saying: "this is the best restaurant in the world" :D

Restaurant located at the foot of the road, with seating up to 50 diners. Traditional cuisine; Galician soup, stew, octopus, baked cod. Subject you can enjoy our specialties in Porco Celta and Cachena. Kitchen hours uninterrupted throughout the day.
Visited this restaurant as we stated at the sister hotel - Cash Pacios - during our Camino. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with service that was extremely efficient and courteous. We ate from the Pilgrim's Menu and there were excellent choices across all three courses. My daughter and I opted for the Pasta Salad to start while my wife chose the tuna pasta. Portion sizes were extremely generous and both dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. Main course brought the first sampling of octopus for my daughter and I and we both really enjoyed it - cooked to perfection. My wife opted for the chorizo sausages with fries - they were simply delicious. Again portion sizes were generous and we could all have gotten by just fine without dessert but you have to really! My wife and daughter both opted for ice creams and these were gratefully devoured after a hot day walking. I chose the almond tart and it was delicious and surprisingly light. All of this was served with a lovely white wine which proved to be an excellent and refreshing accompaniment.Really can't fault any aspect of this restaurant and would highly recommend it to all.

My wife and I were walking the Camino Trail in May and dined at this restaurant whilst staying in Triacastela. This restaurant offered a 10 euro pilgrim dinner consisting of 3 courses and a bottle of wine. There was a good choice of each course and they were average in taste but large in quantity.Coffee however was the worst we have had so far......not very strong or tasty. Our waiter was Maikel, who did a great job. He was efficient, friendly and polite and spoke a little English which helped when ordering.
