We ate here our first night in Toro since we were staying at the hotel and few restaurants were open on Monday night. Food was OK but uninspired. Service was friendly. Not the best restaurant you'll find in Toro - but very nice that the hotel provides the option for guests.Dear guest:In these moments we only give events. And daily menu for guests, I hope this has not been a problem. On the other hand I invite you to try our wine tavern where you can taste the best wines with a varied menu of tapas and typical portions of the area, enjoying unbeatable views of the fertile valley of the Douro.Receive a warm greeting.

The enthusiasm for the wines elaborated in this area, together with our love for gastronomy, gave in 2006 as a result the creation of a dream: Bodega Latarce. This dream has continued to grow more and more over the years, and has become palpable with the

We stopped by several times for tapas and dinner just opposite the main square in Toro. Many restaurants close on Mon and Tuesday, so this was a great option for early in our weeklong stay.

The Rejadorada Restaurant retains its traditional character of the Palace where it is located adapting it to the new palates of today offering an attractive gastronomy for both leisure clients and those who want to organize their business meals. With a cl
Very nice meal, abundant portions and a kind and qualified service, even if we showed up at 11:30 pm... The carpaccio with foie and the big entrecote to share are the highlights of my dining memories in Toro. Absolutely recommended.

Light and space are discovered at 'Nube' Restaurant. Large windows let you see the winery, the ampelographic garden and rich plain of the Duero River. An exquisite service and a delicate atmosphere to enjoy an edgy high quality cuisine in which special at
We have been visiting this restaurant once a year for lunch on our annual pilgrimage to Toro since it opened a few years ago. It is part of the 5* Valbusenda hotel and Bodega complex. We have never stayed in the hotel preferring to stay in Toro itself. In the past we eat in the restaurant itself which is very nice, bright and airy with pleasant views over the surrounding landscape and well laid out tables. The food was always very good and I would regard it as fine dining, in so far as you get fine dining in Spain. On this occasion we were very disappointed. We were told that unless we ordered one of the two available tasting menus, the smaller one was I think 7 courses, we would not be allowed to eat in the restaurant itself. Seven courses is far too much for me at lunchtime so we indicated that we would eat of the menu.Given our choice we were then shown into a side room, vary basically decorated with basic table settings though it did have similar views from windows though not the floor to ceiling ones in the restaurant itself. We were made to feel cheap as we had opted for what we thought was an "A la Carte menu". We were then brought the menu which was basically the lounge bar menu with a fairly limited selection though we still had hopes that it would be good as it was pricey.I opted for a steak which was tasty and well cooked, though did have some gristley bits. However it only came with some deep fried potato chips that were very lightly cooked. There was nothing fancy or special about it at all when we had been expecting a fine dining experience based on our previous visits. My wife opted for the burger as it could be gluten free without the bun, again nothing special, and she complained that it was undercooked for her (despite having been asked how she would like it) though it would have been fine for me.Overall a very disappointing experience and I can not recommend it. We are now unlikely to go back.

We picked this at random for lunch before a scheduled visit to a winery. What a find. Lunch was pre-fix menu with one of the best salads you will ever eat, shrimp over risotto, white fish, ox tail (with wonderful potatoes), and tiramisu, with two good wines included (from a vineyard we had just visited). All for just â¦. 20e per person!!!(We were guessing 50 pp before the check arrived.) Parking out front. Beautiful décor, and such a friendly staff. Do Not miss this place. But be ready for a 2.5 hour meal.

Bar latinta local nueva apertura , pero con años de experiencia en el sector, dedicado a raciones a la plancha realizadas en al momento.
This is one of a number of fairly new places in Toro, it is just off the main square. When we were there with some friends who stay in the town they suggested that we all go there as it had a reputation for good tapas and food. They have a large area of seating outside but also tables inside. We all had some pork that had been marinated then skewered. It was fine but I didn't think that it was so good that I would want to rave about it. To get the full flavour of a place you really have to go back a few times and try something different each time so judging it on one visit may be harsh. My gut reaction at the time was that the place was fine but not really offering something so very different from most of the other bars in Toro.I am sure that I will try it again though.

After walking all around Toro and checking out numerous restaurants and bars, we settled on an outside table at Restaurante Castilla. The owner/head waiter (sorry, never found out which) was helpful, informative and had an excellent wine selection. We were looking for a Numanthia wine and he pulled one out of his cellar that was amazing (2011)! The food was nicely prepared, very fresh and a good price.

Delicious, generous lunch overlooking the vineyard or the inside of the bodega.Very good wine, some of my favourite from Toro. After eating you can have a guided visit of the bodega. The winemaker also speaks English. Very interesting, and worth the little bit if extra time.Book a table for weekends as it can get busy. You won't be hungry or thirsty after your visit, just make sure you're not the one driving home!
