The restaurant offers: Baifo (young goat), watercress stew, rabbit in salmorejo tomato sauce, papas arrugadas (wrinkled potatoes) and mojo garlic sauce, and Tejeda bienmesabe almond cream.
Do not eat here, for us it was a stressful and unenjoyable experience. If you decide to go, definitely don't sit near the centre island as this is the control panel of the dining room! Orders are placed here, meals and empty dishes are brought here first. Cutlery is taken from here. We sat at the table next to the island and it was chaos! There were too few staff for the huge dining room which led to very poor service. The waiters all had their separate roles which seemed a very inefficient way of doing things. Most were unfriendly except for the lady serving bread who didn't speak much English. However it is understandable as they all were practically running around the dining room trying to keep up. Also the waiter who we ordered food from was very unhelpful when I asked for more information on the menu. The food was poor, I had the quinoa salad which was processed chicken and plain quinoa. I ate the tomato, avocado and walnut which was very nice but the rest was inedible. The second course of fish was over cooked but fine. My husband had the pasta with fish but it was just a lot of fusilli pasta. Dear Claire,Thank you very much for sharing your opinion with tripadvisor community. We regret you didn´t like our Restaurant. We will check all points with chef and maitre in order to improve our service. Thanks and regards,

We went there to buy cheese, and ended up having a glass of wine, then another one, with great assortment of cheese, pan con tomate and cured ham. We were then offered a glass of excellent Rhum. The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly people, and eager to make you discover some of the local delicacies. The assortment of cheese is very nice, and they can give you great advice to make your choice easier.Thank you so much for your opinion! We really appreciate that our customers are satisfied after their visit to La Tienda de Paco.

Restaurant placed in one of the nicest peoples of Spain where it will have an unforgettable experience of leisure and gastronomy.
We ate there on a cold day and kept our coats on inside. We had the local stew (OK), the calimari (OK - a bit disappointing) and the mussels (OK). We wanted to have pizza but the pizza oven took a half an hour to warm up and we arrived when the restaurant opened. There were only 2 choices for dessert and we tried the creme caramel which was awful - so rubbery it was practically solid. I have never known my daughter to leave a dessert before. There are better places to eat in Tejeda, but this is quick and cheap.

There are a number of restaurants lining the road in Tejeda. They all seem fairly similar from the outside, with tables overlooking the beautiful valley. We picked this one because they had a separate vegetarian menu, something a little unusual in Tejeda. Service was friendly enough and the waiter spoke good English. They didn't have my first choice, but there were plenty of other options. Food was good and reasonably priced. We also had a bottle of the local wine which was nice if a bit overpriced.Good option, especially for vegetarians.RECOMMENDED VEGETARIAN LETTERThank you very much for appreciating our letter. Right, we have a vegetarian menu and with loclaes products. Sometimes we do not get them and they do not stub all the dishes. You are right, the wines are a bit expensive, but that is due to the scarcity of production and the difficulty of the land for cultivation. there is very little surface to grow them and that entails the productThat is why you can not buy them in a supermarket. We hope to see you again by Tejeda

The BioCreperia is a vegetarian restaurant where the food is almost entirely prepared by hand. We offer a range of sweet and savoury crêpes as well as a tasty meal, which is always different, as we use fresh organic products that we grow ourselves in Acus
We werenât even sure that weâd find anywhere to eat on arrival in Arternara but we stumbled across two close to each other, but this little vegan restaurant flying prayer flags outside, really captured our imagination (and Iâm a full time meat eater!) They have a brilliant philosophy about using home grown and organic foods mostly sourced locally in the mountain top village. Everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked. Ok thatâs a big claim for my first visit but I ordered two crepes, one tomato and local cheese and also a roasted banana, toffee & rum and both were mouth-wateringly scrummy! I also enjoyed a locally brewed craft beer which was wonderfully hoppy and served really cold, a gorgeous relief on this baking hot day.The owner was really friendly and extremely helpful and clearly passionate about the food and their approach. I was anxious that we waited so long to be served but there is definitely a laid back un-rushed atmosphere here and SO lovely to hear fluent Spanish everywhere unlike the horrendous English holiday atmosphere of Puerto Rico where we are staying. This restaurant is a gem of a place :-) Gracias!!!

Highly recommended. We both had the beef kebabs with the brownie for dessert. The meat was of the highest quality. As you might expect the brownie was made with Almonds. If you are eating here at the weekend, it's best to reserve. We visited on a Sunday, it seems many locals travel from the major towns to eat here and enjoy the scenery. The place was full at 13:30 with a queue in the street of people waiting for a table.

We had dinner here twice while staying in Tejeda for a walking holiday and would have gone more often after discovering it except that it was closed for a couple of days for the Epiphany celebrations. Armando is a delightful and entertaining host, very welcoming and attentive. He arranged big heaters to make sure everyone was warm enough, walked around talking to everyone and encouraged us all to talk to each other as well. One night he gave the whole room a short talk about the history of the area and the origins of his restaurant. After our main courses, he produced big bowls of homemade almond ice cream for each table to share - brilliant! His artwork surrounds you and there are books to look at while you enjoy the delicious food. As others have said, the menu is limited, but it is easier not to have a lot of choice and everything was beautifully cooked. The wine was great and we thought the price extremely reasonable. An experience like no other, I can't recommend it highly enough.

We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was well worth it. We shared the mixed Canarian starter - all interesting, some delicious - then had a huge plate of pork cubes, which were herby, tasty and tender. It was clear why so many people were ordering them! My wife had a pleasant glass of wine. It was a little chilly, but not a great problem. The views from the windows were astonishing.

Had a pleasant lunch at this gastro-brewpub in Tedeja, well worth a visit. Dishes are flavoursome and mainly locally sourced-but I have my doubts about the black truffle. Salads were very nice and fresh, appetizing presentation. They brew their own beer as well, unfortuneately they were out of everything but Scotch ale and that wasnât too impressive. I suspect that their caps are the same as most other microbrewersâ, leading to premature oxidation. Hopefully their other brews are the same quality as their food. I would recommend going for tap rather than bottle.Dear 338freb, we are really glad that you liked our food and enjoyed our restaurant so much. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us, the other users, and your excellent rating. We can assure you that your comment will be a great boost of confidence for our whole team! We hope to see you at our restaurant during your next visit to the island. Sincerely, Texeda Team.

Visited the Meson Los Roquetes Grill out of curiosity. The location of the restaurant is really spectacular and the service is very nice and attentive. The quality of the food is not bad, but could be much better. The calamari, steak, and mushrooms were abundant and could have easily fed another person.
