Find out what Spanish restaurants to try in Teddington. Teddington is a suburban area lying west south-west of London, England. Historically in Middlesex, it has been part of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames since 1965. Teddington is on the north bank of the Thames, just after the start of a long meander, between Hampton Wick and Strawberry Hill, Twickenham. Mostly residential, it stretches from the Thames to Bushy Park with a long high street reaching down to pubs, restaurants, leisure premises, fields and fitness clubs by the riverside, having a pedestrian suspension bridge over the lowest non-tidal lock on the Thames, Teddington Lock. Teddington's centre is mid-rise urban development.

Stopped over for lunch meeting, the staff were excellent and polite. The tapas? One never arrived, the calamari was so thinly sliced that couldn't be tasted. The rest were just ok. The deserts were also ok but small in portions. The location is excellent for parking and close to other shops, station and restaurants. On a warm sunny day, the open windows were a bonus. It's not a place I would rush to but then again for a quick lunch it's not bad.

Creative Tapas Inspired by the flavours and produce of Spain and Lebanon
Had supper here on a summer Tuesday. It was well patronised but not full. We liked our table in the 'library', service was good. As the food was described as tapas we expected all our choices to arrive at the same time, however they came sequentially, which turned out to be a good thing as the portions of most of them were generous. Particular favourites were the blackened cod - melting flakes of fish encased in a light batter coloured with squid ink, lamb which came with tender green beans, and the toast with aubergine puree. Items on the menu change regularly, so worth a return visit when we next are in the area.

An independently family owned and ran traditional pub, for 33 years with a tapas based restaurant that also serves traditional lunches and a selection of main courses and bar meals to suit most tastes. We also have a patio flower garden to enjoy in the su
Make sure you book in advanced to avoid disappointment as this place is always busy! With both and outside area for the summer and an inside section for the colder months you can enjoy this amazing food at any time. The manchego cheese with red onion is my favourite. Amazing service, the girl serving us was so lovely and we found out it was her first day! Good job and great food!

From first arriving and ordered drinks at the bar, the waiter was rude and unfriendly, if it hadn't been for a group of us meeting, I would have left then, and as the meal went on I wish we had. The food was average, and no attention was made while taken the order. Would not return.

Tapas Bar and restaurant serving fresh Mediterranean dishes, tapas and Paella. Wines and beers from around the world, cocktails, coffee and tea.
I like The Pottery, I have eaten here many times and it used to be very much at the top of my local food places. I do feel, however, that some standards have slipped a little lately. We started with olives which were excellent and had tapas to follow. Most of the tapas were either very good or definitely good. However, the bread was a total joke. It was one of those small frozen white baguettes you can buy from any supermarket for 35p or so. It was also so crispy on the outside that after eating a few pieces my roof of the mouth was scratched. Why would you let a pretty good meal down by something as fundamental as bread? I just don't get it. Furthermore, the wine list is not to my taste and I believe Spain (or indeed Spanish speaking countries) produce much better wines than these. Otherwise, everything was lovely. I'd love them to address these issues and make it a top-notch place once again.Hello there,Thank you for your review. I am are very happy you enjoyed our Tapas and the olives which we take great pride. The bread should not be the white baguette as you are describing but a lovely freshly baked multigrain baguette served with virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a delicious butter and sea salt. I am very sorry about this and will make sure everyone reads your review and don't ever do such mistake again so next time you visit you can have a taste of proper delicious bread.I appreciate your comments about the wine list and promise we'll look into it.We put a lot of effort on everything we do at The Pottery and take your views seriously so once more thank you for letting us know.Kind regardsLucia
