I came here Cinco de Mayo with 5 four friends and had a great meal. They could not have been any more busy for this rare Saturday Cinco de Mayo. I was put off going in by some of the very mediocre reviews and frankly my last experience at the Manhattan East Side Rosa was an unqualified dud. Terrifically surprised by efficient service, great drinks a great menu and very, very tasty food. Guac was great but was tableside for Cinco. Michelada was a yummy beer based Bloody Mary - very spicy in a good way. The Carnitas are terrific. My friend's Pollo & Asada looked equally so. Churros to end are yummy. I would definitely return. Nothing to worry about with the negative reviews.

I pride myself in loving Latin American food with family in Columbia. My wife had a delicious grilled chicken salad. Our cousin had a delicious chicken and rice dinner with frijoles.and my arroz con pollo with plantanos fritos y frijoles was simply amazing. So much food...dinner for tomorrow. Our first trip there. We'll be back.
Where to eat Fast Food food in Teaneck: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Pretty decent food. I had the chicharron de pollo with yucca. I have to tell you...I've had chicharron all over the place and this was probably the best I've ever had. The yucca was good also. I also had a morir soñando that was "meh". The service was good, although there was nobody there except another couple. The place gets an extreme amount of take-out orders. The atmosphere...well, it could use a little redecorating. But I was there to eat and not judge the decor. The place was clean, the food was good and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back and try the mofongo!

Hackensack, NJ, is one of those older, poorer cities that tends to be visited during work hours and is a little dicey at night. But tucked away in downtown Hackensack, there is a little gem of a restaurant called Villa de Colombia. This Colombian has a modern, crisp, clean and comfortable decor and a solicitous, skilled wait staff. That's a nice base on which to build and a delicious menu completes a terrific dining experience. The shrimp in garlic butter had this little citrus finishing note that made them a delicious treat. They should use a larger shrimp, even if it adds to the price a little. At $8, it could take another hit for larger shrimp. The main courses were exciting. Bandeja Paisa, a very traditional Colombian dish, featured a crispy pork strip and a delicious steak with rice, beans and a fried egg on top. Very special. Villacol, a house specialty, is a perfectly prepared (medium rare) skirt steak accompanied by shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon and creamy smooth mashed potatoes. Villa de Colombia is a real treat, and very reasonably priced. Hackensack doesn't deserve its bad reputation, particularly when there's such a dining delight right in the center of the city.

We visited with our friends on Sunday night and the place was very busy, had to wait about 1/2 hour for a table. There is no place to wait so we just hung out by the door but it was cold and uncomfortable. Once seated, our waiter brought menus and drinks. It took an exceptionally long time for our main course to arrive, but we didnât mind, it gave us time to talk and catch up with our friends. The portions were very big, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would definitely try this place again.

The Sal & Pimienta restaurant in Teaneck, NJ has outstanding Colombian food. It is a family-owned business with the wife, husband, daughter and son all working there. They have great service and absolutely delicious fresh food every time I eat there. My favorite dish is Tilapia with mixed vegetables and tostones!

I visited this location expecting the same yummy delicious menu as the location in New Mildford. Let's start from the outside... If you are not familiar with the area and you follow the address listed on the website, you can get lost. The place is small for the amount of customers the restaurant serves. The food was between good and average... Nothing to compare with the New Mildford location. The only thing I can say if was really good, was the drink .... Passion Fruit Mojito
