Wow! So, six hungry, exhausted, and thirty tourists... we got a seat immediately, for which we are grateful, and the food, although it took a while as it was made to order, was fresh and delicious! Some of the items were off the menu, which just shows they cool fresh to order, no problem! Lets see.... calamari-- crisp, delicious sauce. Chicken pate-- this is more of samosa, with ground chicken-- hot and good. Shrimp mofongo (fried, mashed plantains)-- really tasty, a different texture than most tourists would be used to, but really good. Stewed goat-- a celebration of flavors, but takes a but of work to eat. Stewed oxtails-- my chef brother in law loved it, enough said; pasta had a great sauce on it. Stewed conch-- magnificent. All of this greatness for six people (two starters and six mains) came to $171 for lunch, well worth it for such high quality food. I would go back in a heartbeat.
