This friendly establishment has so many things going for it that at least a couple of visits during the typical short visit to Siguenza make it a must. Here they are:1. Friendly, attentive service in the bar - even though the place was packed, we were still treated like a couple of regulars2. Tasty vermouth off the tap, served with a sardine topped canape3. The "paletilla de cordero rellena de jamon" - the ham stuffed leg of lamb4. The homemade cheese cake, coated is a caramel type glaze, that absolutely melts in your mouth5. Amazing price/quality ratioThis place is legendary!

Following a recommendation we stopped off at this bakery for breakfast before our trip back to Madrid (good location, as long as you can bag a parking space....)It was full of locals and visitors enjoying a range of breakfast goodies ranging from toast with marmalade or tomato, an array of croissants and home made pasties, and not least chocolate and churros freshly fried on the premises. You can also buy home made biscuits and other local delicacies to take home.Excellent quality and good value. Positive and friendly staff.

We stayed at rural hotel of the owners of this restaurant, so we decided to visit it. Once we tasted the food, we realized we take the correct decision. The place is located next to the road, 5 minutes driving from Siguenza. The restaurant spacious with classic decoration. The best dish we tasted and we repeated were the tapas, awarded tapas, mixing traditional ingredients with great flavors. First, the pig´s ear with honey and thyme in a toast is incredible delicious and soft. The sweet touch combines perfect with the salty pig´s ear. The other tapa was pig´s feet roulade with farmhouse sauce and baked apple over a toast of bread. Again, the mixture of flavors really combine perfectly. We also ordered some migas, really savory as well and rich artichokes with ham. The next day, we decided to repeat again those marvelous tapas. This time we ordered a fresh salad of baked red pepper and tuna, good croquettes of boletus and garlic rabbit. This last one, in our opinion was cooked with re-used oil, which gave to the rabbit a strong and strange flavor. As dessert, in both visits, we ordered the traditional cheesecake, very soft and yummy. The staff is really great and helpful, they made as feel as if we were eating in their house. If we go back around that area, we don´t hesitate to visit again la Granja de Alcuneza. We couldn´t forget those marvelous tapas

Bödega is the perfect place to enjoy the best Spanish food with our very best selection of wines.
Strange impression. The atmosphere wants to look rustic and at the same time modern, with the result to be artificial and a copy of the "new informal style" topical now in the big towns in Spain. The food really delicious. Pity that not accompanied by a good selection of wines and by a, at least, a normal kind and careful service.Casual? Informal? Let's try once more in the future and let's see. At the moment I prefer other places. May be, other people can like it in a village which really doesn't offer the quality the visitors deserve

This is one of those place that is not for many. It is a place that you really want to go. Being in a nice village in the Castilla La Mancha region. The rooms are very nice and cosy with good quality furniture and amenities. You can enjoy the nature and atmosphere of small Spanish village. The food is great and you would not believe that you can find in such a place. The garden is also something to enjoy throughout seasons. Thank you to the owners and to Violeta for making us feel so comfortable and enjoy a more than a pleasant weekend.

Atrio is placed in the charming city center of the medieval town of Sigüenza. We offer a wide range of drinks, tapas and food. Enjoy our quality on service and food as well as the unique ambiance at our place. Wide selection of beers, wines and cocktails.
We had dinner here as it was the place we found with the most life and modernish decor. The menu is varied, ranging from pizzas and hamburgers to more typical dishes. The eggs with foie and mushrooms was good as well as the chicken burger. Chips with ham and eggs (revuelto con jamon y huevos) was tasty and salmorejo was well presented but needed a bit more salt and vinager.Waiter very nice but a little forgetful, reasonable prices. You can est inside or out.

We came to this restaurant following Lonely Planet's directions, however it didn't really meet our expectations. Nice service, cozy atmosphere, however the food was far away from "wow" effect. Maybe we didn't understand local cuisine, however the pork was far too fat and lamb chops were basically lamb bones... But that's only our taste, which obviously is subjective. By the way... locally grown tomatoes were fantastic!!!

Firstly this is not a budget restaurant but the service is excellent, if anything, one might suggest the service is over-attentive. That said the waiter had precious little else to do as we were the only diners until another couple appeared at the end of our meal.We shared a ravioli starter which was magnificent before choosing the Cabrito (kid) for our mains. Frankly, way to much, the rich meat would have served four!A quite wonderful wine list included the first Guadalajara wine we had ever seen so we had to try it (Rio Negro), excellent value at 19â¬
