OK so you eat under a tent in the street and if you are really lucky you get a plastic chair and table, but if not then its the stool for you. No menu but different dishes every day and the waiter will translate for you if you have no Spanish. All of the waiters are friendly. We had a selection of semi mature sheep cheeses with iberican ham, pigs cheeks with boiled potatoes and cod and fried potatoes and olives all delicious and even were told about one of the cheeses that is a bit like camembert and was pressed through thistles. Really nice full flavour. With a couple of beers and some water the bill was â¬20. Good value for money too!Give it a try in the church square. You will like it for non tourist food.

great food, especially the canarian papas arrugadas con mojo rojo and the fish croquettes. The appetizess are so good that we commonly order several to share, only the big eaters can have the main coursd after that, which is a pity, since these are of an excellent quality as well. I wish I had three stomachs. alreay looking forward to tomorrow to be warmly welcomed by the most friendly staff ever. Just love it.

Stumbled out of the adjacent plaza and into comfortable cushioned seats at a pleasant outdoor table of this restaurant. What a bit of luck! This was the best food we have had in the archipelago. We didnt realise our luck at first, and simply enjoyed the lovely setting, comfortable seats and chilled beer. When our first portion arrived I knew it would be tasty from the first glance. Super-crispy and tasty breaded chicken goujons with a mayonnaise-based sauce nice enough to please a mayonnaise-disliker.The second course arrived. A range of peppers, reminiscent of the volcanic activity which begat these islands; four fried pimiento peppers stuffed with a cod filling, with a cheese sauce and grated cheese. Points upward, towards heaven from where this food might have come.Come to Gáldar just for this place and it will time well-spent. Enjoy also the passionate, accomodating and amusing waiter that we did.

Charming restaurant offering simple but delicious food. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately, the day I visited, they didn't have fresh fish, so I had to settle for the croquettes and fish soup, which were very good.

Enjoy a wonderful view eating our great variety of fresh fish of the day our special salads cheese chef cold cuts anchovies land with a lot of quality
We loved our lunch at this family-run café. I had a fabulous tuna salad and my partner had the fresh sardines â ingredients were fresh, portions were huge and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were really accommodating to my 5-year old, who is a very fussy eater, and cooked him something off-menu. Really friendly service, nothing was too much trouble. Great value lunch in a perfect location.

Fish fillet in cream sauce with local potatoes followed by excellent home-made chocolate mousse. Swift and pleasant service. Lovely view of the sea. The town itself does not really merit a special visit, but ours was livened up by a panoramic view of an air-sea rescue helicopter winching stranded children off the rocks!

The restaurant specializes in typical food from the Canary Islands such as 'Papas Arrugadas' with canarian sauce or 'Gofio'. With nice wheater, there's a great variety of fresh fish from the day.
Right. This place is an absolute MUST!We were passing by and out of quriousity had a look at the menu so decided to try the food.It is a rwally basic place, where the staff are very sweet and caring. The chef- Mr Victor Diaz- that is an absolute master chef- and I wouldnt give the same opinion for many in the industry.Over two weeks on the island that was tge place we visited over five times. And I don't tend to take my wife and the kids one and the same place over and over. Unless it is worth it and it certainly is.I will make no recommendations over the menu- trust your senses. One thing- make sure you have enough time to enjoy and space in your tummies to accomodate this wonderful canarian food. Mr Diaz is not messing about- decent portions, great taste! Prices are more than reasonable so I pledge- leave a good tip. Tgese people are doing great!BON APETIT!!
