We were on the covered terrace, enjoying the sun and big garden. Food was perfect (we ordered octopus with potatoes, squids and tiramisu) everything was cooked well. Service is also perfect. I visited this restaurant as part of larger group, as I have to admit I am not a fan of snails and this snail farm/restaurant specialises in just that: snails. However, fortunately, they've thought about everything and they also offer options for non snail-eaters!When you arrive, you are personally greeted and taken on a fun tour around the snail farm. You are then told the whole process of breeding snails, how they live and where, all measures taken to ensure their health and wellbeing, etc. This was very informative and interesting.The group then heads off to the restaurant site and get ready to eat. Personally, as I do not like snails, I went for a delicious salad as a starter (very generous and fresh ingredients) and a huge stake as a main, which was very well cooked. If you do like snails then it gets more exciting as you can have all sorts of stuff made with snails: croquettes, paté, and a set of different casseroles of snails made following different recipes. As far as I know, you can have as many as you want!The dessert was perfect, a truly Mallorcan delight made with apricots on a base of a sponge cake - to die for!Service was stunning and very attentive, I loved the fact we were all treated more like friends instead of mere customers.Menu has a set price but you get starters, main, dessert, as much drink or wine as you want, coffee, Mallorcan liquors... All inclusive! Also remember you have to call and book in advance, as they only offer meals if there is a minimum of 10 people going on any given day.I highly recommend this place, especially if you like snails, but even if you don't and your friends or relatives are visiting... Come along as you'll also enjoy the experience and the food!Thank you very much Sergio for talkng the time to writte such a perfect explanarion abput you experience in our farm and tasting room. ...so be prepared for a packed place! The local workers come here for a solid breakfast, and that makes the restaurant very "normal", definitely not a tourist spot.The service is a little overwhelmed at times, but do their best. And they make their "callos" and "frit" daily, so expect some quality cooking (although we have had better elsewhere in town). The prices are also "popular" and reasonable. C'an Prim is a small local bar based in the centre of Santa Eugenia. It is very obviously a main hub for the village and a perfect place to sit and people watch.Staff are friendly, un-pretentious and endlessly helpful; one nightmare day involving car keys, phones and money locked inside an impenetrable hire car was easily resolved by Bernard, who calmly poured us a beer and phoned the hire company to arrange help.Many evenings were spent here, sipping local wines or beer and watching local life come and go. Tripadvisor triumphs again! We were marooned in central Mallorca with no idea of where to eat on a Sunday evening, and TA finds us a fabulous restaurant just 8 Kms from our hotel, which hit the spot completely.We thoroughly enjoyed the home cooking which was inexpensive, well presented and delicious. The restaurant itself is cosy, attractive and romantic (it was our wedding anniversary). And the host, Tony, was informative, friendly and interesting.We also had a great bottle of the local wine, Ribas de Cabrera.Well recommended!

This is our third review of this very special restaurant. The quality of the food, the setting and the service is truly exceptional, and remarkably consistent over the years.The only critical reviews refer to the âslowâ service - so if you want fast service, donât go. If like us you enjoy ambience in a perfect romantic setting with friends or a special person; and to enjoy a remarkable 7 course tasting experience, then you MUST visit.If you can book a room here as well, that is the ideal, because their breakfasts are equally indulgent and in a different but equally beautiful breakfast room.

We went to El Castillo on opening night. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is a tastefully setup restaurant, with great care for detail. Also the food and staff all wonderful. We really enjoyed it.
