Restaurante de comida casera tipica de Cantabria, especializado en chuletones, entrecots y hamburguesas de primera. Sartenes y raciones variadas. Gran comedor interior y terraza en el centro del pueblo. Facilidad de aparcamiento
Our last day in Spain and it was raining. This little restaurant, the owner and his family plus the superb food really made our day. A really warm welcome, they went out of their way to explain the menu, considering we do not speak Spanish and they did not speak English. When we did not understand a dish the owner went into the kitchen and came out with a taster of the dish: squid ink paella, which we tasted and had to order as delicious. This was just the starter and was followed by equally delicious fish omelette and then I had the rice pudding. Oh, my goodness, the best I have ever tasted. Full of traditional charm and so friendly, we so enjoyed this lunch time experience. So wish we could have spoken the language as we would have loved to pass on our unanimous praise. Gracias, moy, moy bien!!!

Santa Luzia is much more than a restaurant, it's a place to share, to taste, to have a drink to enjoy nature with the kids, to take a chocolate con churros Sunday ... In Santa Luzia can spend time without further ... In different environments and spaces.
Recently stopped by Santa Luzia for a nice lunch. We were pleasantly suprised to find that this old rustic restaurant has been restored and given new life by the current chef and owners. The current vibe takes a dark, dreary restaurant and transforms it into a retro and chic space. There is even a nice spot with fireplaces for before or after dinner drinks complete with chesterfield couches for ultimate lounging. The meal was incredible with the most wonderful salads including a salmon nigiri one. I was stunned at how sophisticated the food was and all its intricate flavors and textures. The chuleta was the best I have ever had. Wines were affordable and excellent. The bread service was similar to those michelin starred restaurants. Service was efficient and very attentive. To top of the end of the wonderful meal, a Pisco Sour based on Orujo liquor. Just brilliant. It is nice to go to places that go beyond and bring out traditional flavors in new and exciting ways. Three tips of the toque to Santa Luzia gastronomic space!

We stopped in Cabezon for breakfast before visiting the giant redwood forest nearby. El Sol was perfect, with delicious food, a friendly and helpful owner, and very good value. It looks better inside than the exterior.Muchas gracias por tu amable opinión.Esperamos tu próxima visita.

Hola.

Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the area. The food quality is great and the service is good. My wife and I went for lunch with a friend and we asked for cocido montañés (white beans with chorizo, sausage and kale), an ensalada mixta (a huge lettuce, tomato, tuna, asparagus and onion salad), some croquettes, and their bestselling feature chuletón a la piedra (a HUGE beef rib steak). We accompanied the food with a nice crianza Rioja red wine We had to take some of the croquettes and steak home, as the portions were huge.Everything was delicious! If you like good food and large portions you won't be disappointed. The premises were very clean.Highly recommended!

"La Flor del Nogal " is based on walls with history. Stone upon this mountain-style house was built in the eighteenth century, and for housing block, in the Cabuerniga Valley. It was in 1983 when Santi and Ceci, a young couple with roots in the area, deci
In its second incarnation--after a change of chef and management--La Nogalea ofers a very enjoyable experience and great value. A wide set of choices mixing inspired creations and traditional items come together with an excellent selection of Spanish wines.

In the Casa Lucas restaurant in Cantábria you will find a traditional cuisine that has managed to save and improve the mountain flavors cooked by the mother of the family. The dishes are homemade, original and do not load the palate of the visitor. In add
Popped in here for a coffee and sandwich while looking around Los Tojos.Quaint little roadside restaurant which seemed popular. The sandwich was huge and meaty. We were given a small, complementary pot of Caldo (like a broth) which was very generous. It was nice and hot but I am afraid it wasn't to my taste which was a shame because I usually like the local soups! It's a pity we didn't try a full blown meal as I am sure it would have been very nice. Lovely cup of coffee!A small bakers shop occupies a corner of the restaurant along with a few other goodies you can buy.Worth paying a visit if in the area.
