Estuvimos en familia el primer dÃa de feria y aunque el servicio estaba saturado y tuvimos que esperar un largo rato, fueron amables y la comida estaba buena, ninguna pega. Carta bastante amplia y con opciones para todos los miembros de la familia. Nos sorprendió muchÃsimo encontrarnos con que tienen en carta la hamburguesa vegana beyond meat, algo inaudito en estas tierras 100% carnÃvoras. Bravo.

Después de visitar el Nacimiento del RÃo Mundo,paramos a comer aquà y nos encantó. Buena relación calidad-precio. Servicio rápido y camareros muy agradables. El entrecot muy bueno y el atascaburras también bastante rico.Todo perfecto. Buen sitio,lo recomiendo.

Everything was just average about this place until I met the manager/owner. We discussed what we had to eat, Pulpo Crujiente (crunchy octopus) and Misto Manchego, (ratatouille and that fired egg). These we second choices as the first were not available. The manchego was traditional eggplant and tomato based with tasty vegetables, onions peppers, zuchini and topped with a fried egg. Wine was taken by the glass, surprisingly served in unstemmed water glasses. I went to pay (E26.60) whereupon I met the manager. We had a discussion about our meal and he was full of enthusiasm about food in general and the egg in particular. He explained that the vegetables are cooked separately and recited the herbs included and then the egg. It is a local speciality and surprisingly good.Tasca Pedro is located on the top of the hill with ample outdoor dining and parking and with great views.Gracias hermano un abrazo

Estuvimos el fin de semana y fuimos los dos dias.Muy ricas tapas y muy buen ambientado el local y si a eso le sumas una atención de 10 es imposible que pueda ir mal,tapas a muy buen precio y de calidad,recomendable la sobrasada con queso y otra que se llama Marisa.Ademas tienen un vino de la casa riquÃsimo y de precio está mejor que bien.Si vais a Riópar y queréis tomar el aperitivo este es vuestro sitio.

Very friendly (as are most restaurants and people in this region). Huge portions of good food and efficient service. Prices are reasonable, so it is easy to over order! Personally I would avoid the marinated Partridge if I were to visit again but the other dishes that we had were delicious.

Conozco este sitio desde hace años, y mi impresión es que desde hace un tiempo, tanto la calidad de, sobre todo, los platos caseros y de cuchara, ha bajado notablemente. Es cierto que tienen un muy buen menú a un precio muy interesante, pero creo que lo podrÃan hacer mejor.También el personal, sobre todo alguno de ellos, parece que no se les dá muy bien algo tan esencial en este oficio, como es la atención al público. Lo siento mucho, pero al menos en mi experiencia, no puedo darle más puntuación a este establecimiento.

We visited this restaurant as it was recommended to us. An exhilarating walk to the Rio Mundo falls was needed to get us suitably hungry for a large and delicious lunch. The restaurant is not easy to find - tucked behind the main road through Riopar, on the edge of a new housing housing development in the calle rio MUNDO. If coming from the Falls when you join the main road turn Right in front of the petrol station and look out for a small red sign to the taverna on your left. Don't be put off by the initial approach however as from the first floor window we had a great view of the mountains and hunkered down by the blazing fire to an accompaniment of good music, toned down. We were the only ones there and although a prior call had been made we did not expect the chef to lay on such a feast from his degustation menu. We started with some sort of baked cheese, served with a lovely blackberry sauce and some sort of fruit chutney. Then a plate of crisply fried and lightly battered vegetables, covered in some sort of balsamic dressing. Really unusual and delicious. The next starter was a large plate of stag casseroled in a wine reduction sauce. My husband then had a fabulous looking piece of roasted lamb accompanied by crisply fried and lightly puffed potatoes. I had a chicken risotto - the least exciting dish. We were about to say we were absolutely full when out came taster puddings - a chocolate tart, baked custard and pumpkin type pie - all good. The meal was served with a house wine, finished off with a taster of home made blackberry liquor (left on the table for us to taste from a large bottle) and coffee - all for euros 23 per head. More than the average meals around here, but in a class of its own. This guy really knows how to cook, and seemed to be the sort of chef we gets a real kick out of preparing and serving his food personally. It's a new venture and I hope he succeeds in what are currently difficult times.

Great place for having different types of very well-cooked meat. The quality of the meat is great, and the prices are a good deal. The service is also excellent and fast. Always ready to help. Taste some wine of the area "La Mancha" and enjoy the very special home-made "orujo de miel", a wonderful restaurant in the beautiful área of "RÃo Mundo". We will return, for sure.
